Im still in denial mode, I know its been a few hours, but Micheal Jackson was just one of those artists that I grew up listening to, in a way kind of fits into the definition of my generation (minus the mistakes he made and the fact that he was more of an 80's artist) Whenever a song comes on, I can say that more than 50% of the people in the room know the lyrics. Just Beat It. Beat It. Just Beat It. Beat It.

The song that got me into listening to MJ. It was the first time I also saw Free Willy. One of my favorite songs and movies of all time.
Michael Jackson - Will you be there?

Bad. Loved that song. Have the album on Vinyl. Then there were songs like "Scream", "Stranger In Moscow", "Smooth Criminal", "Beat It", and so much more. He was the reason why I first started dance orientated music.
RIP.
His music will live on forever....Rest in Peace Michael Jackson (1958-2009).
People make fun of Michael Jackson but he was one of the most talented musicians of all time. Does anyone know why he died?
There is a rumour that its was due to his use of prescription, medications.

Billie Jean is one of my favorite songs of all time. The video is good too. Does anyone know if there are any trance remixes of his music?

i love michael jackson to death...but honestly i could never imagine him living until old age.
RIP Michael, your music was the soundtrack to an entire generation of people, and beyond.
im so sad by this. although i think he was a bit creepy and wacked out in his later years- I grew up listening to and loving him! I mean, his album cover had a TIGER on it for gods sakes!! hahah
honestly i think he was a musical genius as well, and we all are blessed by him. RIP MJ
I was definitely sad to hear this. One of the first and best presents I ever received from my fiance was the entire Michael Jackson collection of CD's. While there are a lot of classic rock artists that have a timeless song, there aren't many pop acts that can say the same...he was one of them. RIP MJ
The first album I ever purchased was "Thriller" in 1982.
Michael Jackson is the true King of Pop.
He is one of the most talented people to have ever walk the earth.
In my opinion, the "king of pop" MJ died years ago. The one that died yesterday was a strange fucked up MJ. Still sad that he died, but he wasn't the same person everyone loved.
