Michael Jackson
No idea why this haven't already been done.
What's your opinion of him, both as an artist and as a person? How much did he do for music?
Personally he rocked my socks with the albums Thriller and Bad, after that not so much, and in the end not at all. I've seen him live 2 times and it was very entertaining. I'll admit that his personal life might have influenced me a lot the last decade. He was always creepy as hell, except maybe as a 5-year old.
I really don't know enough about popmusic to go into his influence on the world of music, but I'm interested in the opinions of this board.
He used to be good, then he had sex with lots of children, then he was bad, now he's dead.

What did the lady say to MJ at the beach?
Hey! get out my son!
on the real his old songs were the shit.
One cannot argue that the music he released as a black man was remarkably superior to the stuff he did afterwards as a white woman. Yet another proof that men > women when it comes to creativity.
only MJ song that I really liked was Billy Jean, the rest was just irritatingly annoying

Michael Jackson's final wish was to be melted down into Barbie dolls..........that way children can play with him instead!
I think the first piece of music I ever bought was Thriller on a white cassette tape.
