In Australia we drive on the left instead of the right, and you'll see heaps of kangaroos everywhere along the roads and there's heaps of traffic jams because of the silly buggers! You'll have lotsa good times, and drink many nice beers and as long as you take it easy while you're out here it'll be sweet

Which school are you going to be at here in Melbourne?..or is just your same school from the US setting up a little base down here?

Ciao

Also, never take any Aussies seriously
Or if u absolutely have to take someone seriously, take whatever they're saying with a grain of salt (ie don't believe it wholesale).

And don't forget to check ur shoes every morning for fatal surprises....of the 10 most poisonous spiders in the world, Australia has 9 of them. Which is another way of saying of the 9 most poisonous spiders in the world, Australia has all of them. But even the spiders don't go near the water

dont worry...youll love the lifestyle that melbourne has...we got a great nightlife as well..where abouts in florida are you from?

If you want decent surf, you're probably gonna have to drive a few dozen kilometers (we use kilometers here btw ) outside of the city to Torquay or something, because the surf a St Kilda beach is fairly poor - plus there's used syringes and condoms all over the beach, which kinda detracts from the whole experience. But yeah, like Stipsy said, it's a nice place to live - voted worlds most livable city a few years ago until Sydney stole it off us. So yeah, you should enjoy it.

Just watch out for poisonous koalas though.

Melbourne is great if you love going out to electronic events. If you
love Techno your in luck cause hardware & wetmusik bring out all the top notch dj's example, this saturday thomas schumacher is playing http://www.hardwarecorp.com.au/T5_eflyer_2/ .

sadley the only time we get uplifting trance is at the big events 2tribes, GCSS, MoS & welcome(NYE). But we do get some mighty fine prog house dj's out here. Butcompared to other parts of australia we have it good.

As for Melbourne it self it's a good place to live. food is good
the weather is haywire and u will have to drive a coupleof hours to find good surf. i think u will enjoy it
