TV pitchman Billy Mays found dead at home Billy Mays From the Associated Press 9:46 AM PDT, June 28, 2009 Tampa police say Billy Mays, the television pitchman known for his boisterous hawking of products such as Orange Glo and OxiClean, has died. He was 50. Authorities say Mays was pronounced dead this morning after being found by his wife at home. There were no signs of a break-in, and investigators do not suspect foul play. The coroner's office expects to have an autopsy done by Monday afternoon. Mays' wife, Deborah Mays, says the family doesn't expect to make any public statements and asked for privacy. Mays was also featured on the reality TV show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel, which followed Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs. Discovery Channel spokeswoman Elizabeth Hillman released a statement Sunday extending sympathy to the Mays family. "Everyone that knows him was aware of his larger-than-life personality, generosity and warmth," Hillman's statement said. "Billy was a pioneer in his field and helped many people fulfill their dreams. He will be greatly missed as a loyal and compassionate friend." |

Somebody is out to get sale pitchers....
First Ed, Then Billy... next Vince?
Its all apart of Obama's conspiracy plan to make the US communist... I KNOW IT!
LOL
He was on a flight yesterday that had an incident...
On landing, the front tires blew, creating a pretty hard landing which caused some "stuff" in the cabin to fly around...
Billy was hit in the head but brushed it off saying he had a hard head and no big deal....
Maybe it was a big deal after all...
Just found this in wiki...
Mays had been aboard US Airways Flight 1241 from Philadelphia to Tampa that blew out its front tires as it landed at Tampa International Airport on June 27, the day before his death. None of the 138 passengers and five crew members were reported to be seriously injured immediately following the incident, but several passengers reported having bumps and bruises from falling objects.[2] Mays told a local Tampa television station that some of the objects "hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."[14] It is unclear whether Mays' death was related to the incident.
OMG NOOOO
RIP Billy Mays....so sad!!!
Shit there's an uncomfortable trend developing here. It seems 50 is the new life expectancy for males !!!

50 is a good enough age...after that everything goes downhill and gets boring anyway
How sad.....
Honestly that guy was right up there with Santa in terms of scaring the crap out of me whenever a commercial for oxi-clean or orange glo came on.
