Sad Chicane = done

this jizz bucket is officially running outta ideas. now he is stealing from sigar ros and jumping on the deadmau5 bandwagon just like all the other shitdicks.
remember when made good music?

God dammit, don't make a thread with a title like that, especially when the rest of celebrities seem to be dying like flies.

funny observation coming from someone with a nic "Minimalism".

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of that track... however, give man his props...

that comes from The Copenhagen School, not the music

Offshore, Saltwater, Don't Give Up, hell all of Behind The Sun, are great tracks. Let's remember them with happiness and ignore everything he's made recently.

How about this amazing gem?

(You're just having fun posting that vid everywhere aren't you? =p)

I count Disco Citizens as something else, but it's brilliant regardless.

Chicane threads are becoming as tiresome as Deadmau5 threads. Just jam some Way Out West (in 2009 at that) and purge from your mind what happened to this Nick Disgracegirdle douche.

That was fucking painful to listen to.

"Oh my god I say - If it's a dream why can't I scream to wake me up I say?"

Anyway, I can't believe this shit.

ill get reamed here, but ill go ahead anyways. i think that he can do whatever the hell he likes now, sellout or whatever. i think hes made enough good stuff like saltwater, autumn tactics, mojave (please release this)...even some of the vocal stuff which hes made i like (some of the vocal songs on easy to assemble (again, please release this), dont give up, lost you somewhere). the guy needs to "earn a crust" (or whatever) so i dont really care about what he makes now. would be nice if he made something non-cheezy in the future though.

Posted by BlueSky on Jun-29-2009 13:56:

If he wanted to get respected by the trance scene, he would stop and remain in history with "Saltwater", "Autumn Tactics", all the great stuff by him. Why is he making this shit now?

Posted by trancesept on Jun-29-2009 14:09:

this guy made fucking offshore!!!

and now hes making this stuff?

WHAT THE HELL~~~

GYAAAAAAAHHHDLFKSDJKDJ *explodes*

For someone who likes piano's, synths, melody and chord changes like me this truly is a great track and I'm not ashamed a bit for that!!!

I wouldn't be surprised to hear this one a lot in Europe this summer

I too like synths, melodies, and chord changes, but this track sucks. Beats me why somebody who used to make great tunes is now doing inferior versions of Sigur Ros.

I do like remixes too and don't mind if the original sounds different or the remix is a total rape. (Couldn't have liked Happy Hardcore, cause that was just..., but I did.)

Youtube comments strangly (or maybe not) are quite the opposite from here. Quess they all must be ASOT fans or something. eg: Summer 09 tune, felt Ibiza mood.

O, solved it, you don't like piano's?

I just can't say any thing bad about this one. Must be my taste, I was a dream house fan (R. Miles, BBE, Gigi..)

No, I just don't like this track. I have filed it as "Generic Hypercompressed Trancer #589244."

The catalog of Generic Hypercompressed Trancers never ceases expanding.

I think it's a pretty good track. But I also wouldn't expect the minimal queers to like this.

So much of his stuff is mind blowing. I can't understand how you would have any self-respect left by the time you've worked your way to releasing this garbage.

Posted by supersaw abuse on Jun-30-2009 15:14:

i wouldn't say it's straight up bad; just fairly unmemorable. would make for a nice tune toward the end of an ibiza-oriented set

Posted by Trance-M on Jun-30-2009 19:27:

Well I just a good listen, because I wondered why then I liked it from the first time I heard it.
This is a track that easily could be made 10 years ago.
I has not many layers, no voacals, is a bit slower and is exactly what I loved back then in dream house.
O, and the melody stays in my head

Love this one too:
