when above & beyond came to sac last year at barcode it was 18+
idk why social wouldn't make their big events w/ the bigger DJ's 18+ as well..

i know social helped promote Tiesto in sac and that was an 18+, so wtf?

its the way the sacramento law is now for clubs, and the way social is set up. In sac if you want to do 18+ the bar has to be separate from the dance floor, at social the bar is the dance floor (kinda, its just one big room) sry bout the age thing

i hope they have him for another 18+ night @ ruby like they did last year for 'day one,' sadly i had to go back to school for a swim meet, god i was pissed...

Yeah...the bar pretty much IS the dance floor. The bar is huge. Just went for the 1st time on Thursday for Mark Farina. He played a great house set...really stayed true to his style and didn't "dumb down" his music for Sacramento. Kudos to him.

Will definately try to make Markus's set too! Stoked that Ruby is helping promote this night in Sac. We finally have some top shelf talent!

i dont remember Bar Code having a separate area with a bar.....

if i remember correctly, we couldn't bring drinks on the dance floor. but i think that the rules have changed some, or at least the way they are inforcing the licensing laws now.

everyone complains about sac not getting good djs, and the clubs and parties in sac suck, but in reality they don't. Markus Freakin Schulz in sac at a nice club supported by some other incredible djs. i will be only going to the one in sac, cuz i want to support it, sf has enough support.

Fuck yeaaaa, will be there in Sac and SF because there's no other way to do it. That weekend will be nuts starting that Thursday, then Friday @ Ruby with Schulz plus Infected Mushroom w/Taj at the Regency Center, then Marcel Woods @ 1015 on Saturday

im about halfway between Sac and S.F.. and i choose S.F. over sac every time because of the times the clubs close. when i go out to party i like to stay out later than 130 or 2 am. that is where S.F. beats Sac. is there a after hours spot in Sac?

Not on a thurs nite... usually after parties though for bigger events like this.
