Early Final: Brasil vs Turkey

Our game today was an amazing one. Every1 was saying that Senegal would win the match but they couldn't do anything. The whole game was played on their half field and we could have scored more...Turkish team played so good, and now we are @ top 4 for the first time in our history.

anyways, I really believe if we win our next game against Brasil, then the cup will be ours. We play a lot better than the Germans or Koreans do.

I dunno, Turkey side missed an awfull lot of opportunities against Senegal... They had like 3 three chances,any selfrespecting striker should have scored on those, plus Sukur seems totally out of shape, he didn't hit a single ball right. I hope he doesn't play wednesday, maybe turkey has a chance to win. I'd like to see that happening... Brazil out of the world cup w007! I think turkey are going to give the brazilians a lot tougher game,than they have faced in this tournament yet. let's hope for the best.

Honestly, that senegal:turkey match was a funny one, lots of chances were missed, but in the end turkey was playing the better game and deserve to win, but i think this is the end of the line for them, and IMHO brazil will win that match, and probably brazil vs germany in the finals

you're so biased.

What I saw today is a boring qualification-level game between Senegal and Turkey. Both weren't that good. I got to concede that Turkey had more will than Senegal but still, you can't say that Turkey was owning that game. It was so boring, it could've went either side. Don't get me wrong though, I still admire your team for going so far.

But, when you'll win over Brazil you'll have the right to talk about crushing whoever is in the finals, till then shhhhhhhhh.

/me is still annoyed by those annoying Turks that honked all evening long while he was trying to enjoy a glass of Grand Marnier with his girl

ahlamalek, u said that it was a boring game... well, than I suppose that you haven't watched the other games. Spain vs Korea or any game Germany played were the BORING ones. Turkey - Senegal match wasn't a bad one at all, and I'm saying it again that we owned the game. Senegal had not lost a single game until they played against us and everyone was saying that Turkey didn't have a chance. But during the game, they had 1 or 2 positions... That's all ! Where were the the big stars of this world cup? Where was the fav. team of the cup? huh...

you r right ampburner...During the game, I was crying ! I was so mad at Hakan Sukur. He can't even control the ball and missed so many chances. If he hadn't played, we would have scored at least 3 goals. At the end, Ilhan Mansiz went in the game, and Hakan went out. And we scored...

so I hope we win our next game 'coz so far we deserved it. In Turkey, every single minute we dream about this. After almost 50 years we are playing in the world cup and gonna play agains Brasil in the semi finals. I don't think that any other team want the cup so badly...

early final my ass,this is no final,this is just a replay of th first round,and Brazil will kick some serious butts

If you had read my other posts, I did mention that Spain-Korea was boring too and that Germany's games weren't that great. Also, I was asking the same question about world class players doing *nothing* during the wc.

Some of the boring games could be explained because some teams are dead tired from extra time from previous games (spain korea), hot and humid weather, injuries (germany), lazy ass teams/players (almost every big team)...

cyberia: we r not done with brasil. We lost our first match 'coz of a penalty which had nothing to do with penalty...We didn't play much, but such a penalty wasn't fair at all...

Im going 4 an upset, Tukrey Korea Final... and Turkey get the cup ofcourse... Brazilians have Ronaldo and Ronaldinho out... So turks might be able to clinch this one, and Turkey prob played their best game so farr against senegal i rekon. And Hakan Sukur, OMG... lucky the coach put Ilhan Mansiz on and we got the result... Sukur is finished i rekon.

What has happened to Sukur? He doesnt seem to be the same player. But since he�s this national icon and all, I guess the coach havent got the guts to bench him.. He should never have gone to Inter.

I think Brazil will win the game although Turkey is a great side with Emre, Hassan Sas and Alpay.

so true... Senol Gunes cannot dare to bench him, but I hope that we don't start our next game with him.
While he was in Inter and Parma, he was sitting on the bench all the time. That's why he's so bad right now...

I admit that Brasil played better, but we didn't play bad...

Our biggest mistake was starting the game with Hakan Sukur. We were playing like with 10 players since he only walks around !

yeah... I'm really happy with this world cup... We played very well and got the best result in our history.

as u said Germany has no chance since Ballack is not gonna play...

But we have still Klose ... ok I admitt germany plays their games not very spectacularly but very efficiently.. It will be a very hard game against brasil but i think we have a chance to win..
We will see..
