Poker sunglasses - why do certain reflect light..can't that give away your hole cards

Hi,

About poker sunglasses.. i noticed on tv that certain pro players use sunglasses that reflect (you can see things in it).. now isn't it stupid wearing reflecting sunglasses cause your opponents could see your hole cards in your glasses if you look at them.. ain't that so?

So why do certain players have sunglasses where you can see things in.. that reflect in other words?

Shouldn't poker sunglasses like NEVER reflect light to be good?!

Anybody can explain this a bit please why they use reflecting sunglasses?

The fact that they're pro players at the pointy end of tournaments answers your question.

but why do some seem to have ones that reflect.. if shades reflect, act like a mirror.. couldn't that give away your hole cards to your opponents when you watch your hole cards??

When the opponents see their fat face in the sunglasses, they get pissed off and lose concentration.

when you play poker you don't hold your cards up to your face

i know but still wondering if you watch your hole cards with reflecting shades others could see your cards in your shades?

just something i was thinking about when watching tv and seeing guys wearing glasses where you could reflection in.. so I was thinking if that couldn't give aways info to opponents in the right angle?

Nobody here has real-life poker experience?

Seriously. Unless your opponent is really fucking tall, he's not going to see the reflection of the cards.

Have you ever seen a pair of sunglasses that DON'T reflect light?

As hilarious as that picture is, it assumes that the lenses are flat, which in sunglasses they rarely are.
