Why has registration been disabled by the administrator?

A friend of mine was going to register himself, but he saw this message: "Registration has been disabled by the administrator"

Too many ppl signing up as of late as a direct result of AudioGalaxy shutting down - more leechers aren't necessarily welcome - so I'll stop some of the influx now....
