Coming to the US for a year ...
Hey guys
I'll be coming over to study @ Tennessee Tech University for the next academic year and I really want to use my time to go to as much EDM events as possible over there
. I was just wondering if you could give me some info- like sites with upcoming events and point me to some good clubs I should visit (not limited to TN, I wanna go everywhere of course, already booking tix for electric zoo
).
Are there any good local underground DJs I should go and see?
What should I avoid ?
The first hand info from fellow TA's would be the best I suppose
- thanks in advance and cheers from Serbia
There's some pretty good stuff in Nashville according to the TAs residing there. Where are you guys?
DJ Steve McNair is pretty big in Nashville. He plays stuff that kills the floor.

Just keep checking back often in this section of trance addict. Liquified the promotion company here brings tons of talent to Atlanta.
thanks guys
will be watching this forum def...
I suppose this McNair guy thing is a joke, or... ? (a guess - he plays minimal country-step ?

minimal country step FTW.
Branah,
I live in Nashville and we usually have a variety of different DJs come through fairly regularly. PvD was just here a few weeks, MSTRKRFT & The Crystal Method are coming up in the next month or so. If youre into techno/minimal, we have a monthly party as well; we just brought in Billy Dalassandro and Daniel Mnookin from SiteHolder Records. There are tons of local parties on a weekly basis. Nashville is about an hour or so west of Cookeville. Check out www.croniespace.com for the local shows.
how do you become a member of croniespace?
thank you Pete
- great site there, will check it from time to time...
yeah seems I'm really unlucky, I've always wanted (and never had a chance) to hear Crystal Method live :P . thanks once again, good info!

Might have to go to Desyn (already knew), Joris (I remember hearing about that), AND Sebastien.
Though the last one hasn't kept my attention since Cosmonite, but that tune was outstanding, and I remember hearing Drew play it at Holden and it was mega. I'll just whore over by the booth until he plays it.
Oh man. Flashback!
joris, leger, and desyn ? all three of those are fuckin ace. Damn gonna be hard to choose.

bookmarked instantly. I arrive on August 22nd, so I'll miss out on a lot, but if you continue on like this, damn I'll be going to Atlanta every weekend
9/04 - Desyn Masiello @ The Mark
will be my return to the dance floor.
I'll have to go to Desyn and maybe Sebastian. Hopefully by then I will be able to start getting out again. I'm sure Desyn will be a good way to introduce myself to the mark. My birthday is the 5th, and considering the main act probably won't go on until 12 that morning, I guess I can celebrate it with some of you guys.
