Simpsons quotes that sum up various cultures
Being a slavish fan of the simpsons, I thought it'd be interesting to try and use quotes that sum up cultures, not only geographically speaking but music, sports, etc. Should you choose to add a quote try and list specifically the quote, the speaker, context and episode its from, and the culture you're referring to.
I'll start with two:
We paid for blood - Hans Moleman, Lisa and Bart in the Ice Hockey game shootout. Probably best describes most violent sports cultures like american football, ice hockey, boxing/mma and nascar.
I'm telling you people, the earth revolves around the sun....Burn him!
Principal Skinner tied to a burning stake by a mob led by grandpa showing how springfield is dead last in culture and science, episode w/ the movie festival. Great reference to the lack of cultured, learned americans, and many other nations.

"Catch'em if You Can" (#FABF14 / SI-1514) - On Niagra Falls Homer and Marge are about to go over the edge, and Canadian and United States Coast Guard are fighting over who should help them:
* American Coast Gaurd: Back off Canadians we got them
* Canadian Coast Gaurd: You back off hosers, they are in Canadian waters, eh'
* American Coast Gaurd: Beat it you puck smacking maple suckers
* Canadian Coast Gaurd: Take a hike you Shatner stealing Mexico touchers
Homer: More aquavit please!
Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse are trying to escape.
Milhouse stumbles and falls.
"You guys go ahead and.....carry me!"
Later on (or earlier?), Milhouse swings on a rope across a gap.
Bart: "Throw us the rope!"
Milhouse: "There's no time!" as he throws the rope aside.
I dunno about cultural relevance, but one of my favourite Simpsons moments is/
Maude: "I'm talking about s-e-x in front of the c-h-i-l-d-r-e-n!"
Krusty: "Sex Cauldron?! I thought they closed that place down years ago!"
luls.
