2nd rooms are usually more experimental from the med school stuff to dubstep. Nero & Noisia are both making housier stuff too although it's a bit meh compared to their dnb.

One of the best parties I've ever been to. It's the furthest thing from shallow and it has so much substance. Plus chicken tacos FTW.

Posted by lcid on Jul-10-2009 19:07:

fuck yeah i cannot wait! i have a feeling i'll be there as often as my wallet allows me to be during the month of August.

i wish i could have been there a few weeks ago for Luke Solomon's set. i've listened to the recording so many times. easily one of the best sets i've heard this year.

check it out - http://www.sundaybestnyc.com/2009/0...unday-best.html

my mom sent me a pretty cool article from the Times yesterday that talked about Sunday Best... she said "Article in Times today about your techno people dancing in daylight and outdoors how weird is that? Apparently so they can get up for work the next day!"

Apart from Mad Professor, this one's better and with a lot more variation:

Room 1

DJ Marky
Fabio
Black Milk Live
Simbad
Spin Doctor
MCs Stamina, GQ

Room 2

Pinch
Peverelist
Bass Clef Live
Headhunter
Komonazmuk
Synkro B2B Indigo
Rider Shafique
Joe Peng

Room 3

D Bridge
Instra:Mental
Bop
Actress Live
SP:MC

I'm not all that fond of Fabric as a venue (despite the great system), but I might toss that aside for music with as much potential as this for a great night.

Wow, so not anywhere near that it's fucking comedy

If you can name any single track by any one of those producers without checking the internet, I'm going to shit my pants.

Room 3 there = d-bridge & instra:mental are absolutely shit hot right now. Add someone like Marcus Intalex or Lynx and that'd be main room quality. Marky is someone whose sounds I like, fabio is obviously timeless. Not heard of any of room 2, which style are they ?
