Tim Hortons Opens 10 Locations in NYC today!

My favourite canadian coffee is coming to America!!

(supposedly they are giving away free goods/coffee today!)

Article:

For anyone not familiar, Tim Hortons is our Dunkin Donuts. I personally love their coffee, as its pretty strong.

and for those who dont looove plain old coffee, they also have the super-sweet-star-bucks-types-coffee drinks.

LOL cheese and toast!!!!

I just had some frozen-y cappucino up there last week, and it was soo yummy and sugary and made me a bit off the wall!!

I am a big fan of regular coffee (at least 2 cups a day) but once in a while those sugary frozen things are delish! (starbucks coffee-light frappacino is super low cal and still yumm-o!!)

their blueberry muffins are tasty and of course the egg and cheese but i pretty much love egg and cheese from everywhere

Interesting time to expand that's for sure, course they probably got a hell of a deal on the building space.

I can't even tell you how happy I was to read this today.

Tim Horton's is one of the things I was going to miss the most about Canada and now I don't have to.

I think they knew I am coming.. It was like a nice little wedding present for Bobby and I.

do they serve Poutine?

Posted by Mr Game+Watch on Jul-14-2009 13:21:

Used to go there a lot when I lived in Buffalo... pretty cool that they're expanding to the city, eventually I am sure they'll make their way out east and on to the Island. Now if NYC can get some other Buffalo chains - Ted's Hot Dogs and Mighty Taco, we'll be set

game+watch: please bring some REAL buffalo wings down here!! start a petition of something. I have had the MOST WACK wings ever here in NYC. you would think with such culinary finesse in this city, that we could manage a decent buffalo wing

I had the Anchor Bar wings when I was at the buffalo airport. It was ok at best. Nothing special to write about.

Let me clarify.

Anchor Bar has their own location at the Buffalo airport, so it's safe to assume that the wings that I'm getting there is the same as the original Anchor Bar. It's like having McDonalds at the airport instead of a regular McDonalds store on the street.

Was excited to see the Anchor Bar branch in the Buffalo-Niagara airport when I went there last May... unfortunately, they aren't as great as the original location (a bit on the soggy side)... but the REAL place to get wings is definitely Duff's, on Millersport highway in Amherst. Absolute best wings I've ever tasted.

yeah...my friends who went to school in Buffalo told me that Duff's was the place to go. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in buffalo.
