1. i love the 20% service charge on the ticket. what exactly am I being served with? for $2 they should suck my dick while i place my order. this only a rant against wan tickets and no one else

2. i will definitely be there

3. i never knew his actual name was ripperton - i thought it was just a stage name

4. thank you mathias for bringing him to chicago. i owe you drinks for that one, buddy

Posted by Quadlow on Aug-13-2009 14:37:

lol much love yuris. the $2 fee is much better then ticket master and its still cheaper then the door which is good. i will take to them and see if they can get you a little "extra" service!

great to hear you will be there and thanks for the recognition. we are very excited about this booking and have a few more great names lined up as well. two red headed sluts on yuris FTW!

whats the deal with the venue? I cant find anything except latino pool hall

Posted by Quadlow on Aug-16-2009 15:00:

its a mid sized mexican american elks lounge of sorts, lol. its def not your average club or bar but its perfect for what we intend to do. the sound is going to be killer and there is decent sized main room for getting down .. if you want to play a game of pool in the side room or drink some modelo thats completly up to you ~ wink.

As you know our events are free when possible but this one won't. We simply have too many costs involved. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make any exceptions. However, there are a limited amount of reduced admission pre-sale tickets available. We are encouraging people to pick them up since its a limited capacity event. Let me know if you have any issues getting them. Cheers!

|| Mathias Matthew ||

From humble beginnings, Mathias has transmogrified to become one of the most technically skilled performers of this generation. His love of music and keen ear has always been present, but he did not begin to develop his technical skills until he met one of Detroits original House DJs, G-Major.

Since the meeting Mathias has worked hard, putting his best foot forward to master the skills necessary to spread his love for the electronic music culture.

Mathiass early appearances at Necto paved the way for future appearances at: Bleu Room; Exile, Crave, Centre Street, Oslo, Altered State, Trancesphere.com Radio (Rising Star, 2004 Summer Sessions), Fiberline Audio, and Movement Music Festival (Detroits Electronic Music Festival), Northern Lights Lounge and The Works. Playing these Detroit venues gave Mathias the opportunity to play and open for the likes of James Holden, Three, Frankie Bones, Timo Maas, Saeed and Palash, John Digweed just to name a few.

In addition to performing, Mathias also worked on numerous production projects including the likes of Departure (Works Monthly) and Brio. Working with Derek Fox, Brio produced the Drip events which brought a new unique spin to Detroits electronic community. Brio used blank canvas venues to emphasize the performers while complimenting the venue with minimal eccentric visuals.

In 2005 Mathias began experimenting, exploring tech-house, minimal, electornica, and techno; making it his mission to constantly evolve in order to not only move club-goers, but also touch them. Since, Mathias has re-emerged a more proficient and energetic performer, entertaining club-goers and music lovers with his spirit and signature sound.

After relocating to Chicago in the fall of 2008, Mathias has played at venues such as Vision, Tini Martini, Victor Hotel, Wax and other hotspots. Over the past year he has worked as the Marketing Director of Volatl tm which has helped him gain knowledge and experience of the industry in all its facets. Moving into 2009 we saw Mathias launch Migrashun, an elite production company, booking agency and soon to be record label.
