Tourism isn't just down, its DEAD.
You and I alike only spent 30 mins to cross back the border. This is UNHEARD of for a weekend. Especially around summer time like right now.
I was just in Rosarito this past week, it was pretty bad. No one walking the streets not that much traffic this was during the day on a weekend. So i can only imagine how dead it was at night. Its a shame because so many people are hurting down there. Its the regular people that are strugging, while the rich upper class is doing just fine.
I hope that Mex will get back on its feet soon, but in 2 years i highly doubt it. Now you need a passport, you have all kinds of violence and even worse you have the stigma of both combined. Rosarito will never be as popping as it was before. Most of the people that went to party were under 21. How many people you know under the age of 21 have a passport? Not many...
