Indeed, the FSOB was intense.Glad to see some break headz in the Florida forum, never thought I'd be praising people in the Florida sub for listening to Florida Breaks.

Didn't get to stay all week, got their Wed for a pool party then doubled back for the FSOB that Friday. I couldn't get more than two days of work for the week I at least made DEMF but sadly didn't coordinate with any TA's....thank God I was faded !

Dubstep room literally changed my life, huge track dropage went down that night

Reminds me of warehouse parties in Tampa back in the late 90's...sounds really dated to me and the same. There are so many more better and fresher genres.

Posted by PatMcGroin on Jul-20-2009 01:50:

i used to be the breaks king (fl breaks, nu-skool breaks, proggy breaks, everything) back in 03-04.

shame breaks just kinda died cuz it was so fucking badass back then. i still have so many great breaks tracks on vinyl too. a lot of awesome sets i have downloaded as well. ahhhh... memories.

Indeed BUT one should never forget about good music rather one should never blatantly disregard good music because of newly developed and perfected brainchildren of the night.

remember 93.3 flz broadcasting the saturday nights AND friday nights almost the entire night from ampitheatre? you could hear it in the car on your way to ybor getting you pumped for your night out. and then 98.7 would take over after from like 3am till 6am, driving home from the club, hopping a chickenwire fence to a cow field and picking some mushrooms on the way home while dark dirty breaks like dynamix was playing in the background. ahh those were the days. 99.9% of the music played was all breaks. mainly florida, texas and south east US area local made music.

Posted by MJM74 on Jul-22-2009 16:39:

The need to bring FSOB to Space!!! ir at least a few DJ's once in a while.

I've got a terabyte and a shitload of time, I'll take it all. That's what's up,I was thinking and scouring the web for that after this thread started. I hope it's not too much of a bother

Act like a tennis shoe & just DO IT!

Posted by Trojanman on Jul-24-2009 01:02:

just upload some good sets randomly out of the bunch.....ive never went deep into breaks ...i love the really old school shit like the early 2 live crew but when i got to EDM (2000) the only breaks i heard were baby ann, icey, and i got to hear ashrock one time at the PAC lol
i have some cd's that i can try to upload ..

dj subliminal - subliminal messages !!!!

dj dave london - orlando breaks!!!

tony falaine and huda hudia - unified funk

dj43 - break out

huda hudia - y2funk

spacemen - spacemen!!!

Baby Anne - in the mix 1!!! and 2!!! ...dark side of the boom

dj icey - mixed!!!....essential mix cd

i bought all these before i had high speed internet

!!!my personal favs

also i saw a torrent pack called florida breaks volume 1-5 or something but vol 4 and 5 are stuck without seeders and theres alot of good shit on them. volume 3 had no seeds when i tried to get it.
there are like 1gig each.

Posted by PatMcGroin on Jul-24-2009 01:27:

i dont remember which sets were good and which were bad necessarily. from what i do remember they were all fairly decent though. what i do remember was good are the singles. but well yea...

ill just upload some random shit then.

wish i had a good server to upload all this too. that would make it a lot easier via ftp. i hate using rapidshare and megaupload and all that crap.
