I'm currently awaiting the arrival of a pair of Sennheiser PX 200's. I know it's a bit late to ask for opinions... So does anyone know anything about them? I was about to buy the PX 100's but since they're semi-open they don't really suit my needs. The PX 200's are closed and look better, imo, and I've heard the sound is still good. Anyone else ever use them?

Out of interest, why do you prefer closed?
I've had a much more comfortable time with semi-opens personally.

yeah i have the 200s, they're really good (although i recently rendered them useless by wrecking the chords thru wear and tear as i always seem to do )... you realise they're not production headphones thou right??

they're miniature top of ear headphones meant for ipoding and whatnot...
so yeah they're good for that, but considering you're posting this in the production area i hope you bought them for that reason!

Oh no, I didn't buy them for producing! I have Sony MDR-7506's for that (and very VERY happy with them). I bought them for casual use where the MDR's are too big to carry around. I posted here anyway since there's not really a headphone forum and I spend the most time in here.

@ fledz, it's not really that I prefer closed, it's just that I'll be using these in public places where open headphones would be out of the question.
