I thought this was going to be about Meg being a Nut...
I dont know, i didnt read the thread.
i sell nutmegs at my store
they smell funny
i also sell Hemp seeds
Hemp = HIIIIGH
Fairly common cooking spice.. I've used it numerous times.. esp in Thai curries. Have never felt any psychotropic effects whatsoever.
the only place nutmeg is considered a drug is in prison.
why, because outside of prison no one is stupid enough to inject nutmeg.

seriously....unless you are desperate you would not inject nutmeg (inject is the only way to get a buzz) Nutmeg is what heroin junkies do in jail, because they can't rob old ladies for smack money.

Yes it works but don't make the same mistake I did. You cannot go to the store and purchase nutmeg in a container from the spice rack, eat it, and then expect it to work, or may be you have to eat a larger quantity if its not as fresh.
It has to be FRESH nutmeg for the best results and you have to eat A LOT of it! It tastes really dry and nasty. Make sure you have a refreshing drink nearby and hold your nose as it's going down if you have to.
It's also pretty dangerous if you ingest too much and to tell you the truth I have no idea what the appropriate dosage would be.

Hmmm... if there was a way to buy fresh nutmeg and somehow extract only the oils that would be mint. No need to eat spoonfuls of dry spice... just drop some of the oil on your food or drink it.
