On FRIDAY, JULY 31, INCOGNITO Global ends its month-long 2 Year Anniversary celebration by flying in, in their 1st LA performance, WASTED CHICAGO YOUTH and its 4-turntable DJ Set.

WASTED CHICAGO YOUTH are JUSTIN LONG and MAZI NAMVAR; Chicago's well known underground house militia. With their latest invention, the duo breathe life back into the sleeping giant that is Chicago House Music. It's no small order, but both artists feel the time has come to get their hometown back on top of a scene that has in recent years has seen its status trivialized.

JUSTIN LONG is well known for his on going residency at Chicago's infamous Smart Bar, going strong for over 7 years. He has released original music and remixes on Classic, MFF, Junior Boys Own, Robsoul and Cajual additionally master minding the .dotbleep imprint. Being an LA fave, most recently, he has headlined at Hawt and Droid Behavior events and now, he turns INCOGNITO.

Fresh Meat's MAZI is no stranger to successful collaborations and has worked with some of the most influential labels in electronic music. A prolific producer, MAZI has released over 100 records, additionally creating music as Audio Soul Project and Studio Nova. Current original releases have appeared on Dessous, Systematic, Urbantorque, Circle Music, SAW and Brique Rouge.

Together, these two recently dropped their WASTED CHICAGO YOUTH debut releases on the gent's own labels. Their first EPs have received praise from all corners of the house and techno worlds. Two of the tracks have already placed in top 100 sales positions on Beatport. Welcome back again for another tale from the archives of the .dotbleep library of sound. Today's feature is a segment that took place deep in the labs of the Smart Bar basement a few months ago. In this chapter, we will find the Wasted Chicago Youth ( Mazi of A.S.P. & myself ) in control of a subterranean vessel that consisted of 2 mixes and 4 turntables.. we were on a mission into the deep with no prior instruction, we suited up, downed a few shots and were on our way to launch into the unknown!
