guetta's name shall soon be known all about the land

I'm not going to bother listening to the song but I hope he at least avoids the use of Autotune.

the fucks this shit

Posted by woscar on Jul-22-2009 01:44:

The one with Kelly Rowland is ever worse. He blatantly stole the melody from Colplay - Clocks. Who could've thought we were going to see a bigger wanker than Eddie Halliwell in EDM?

Posted by Lews on Jul-22-2009 01:49:

God I fucking hate him.

David Guetta isn't trying to make music for the progressive scene, the trance scene, the house scene... etc. He is trying to make music for the Pop/Dance genre. So he's not really disgracing anything of yours that you treasure and respect. His aim with this body of work is not to impress and capture the attention of people who enjoy deeper continuous dj sets, but more-so the people who like radio-centric popular music.

That being said, for WHAT IT IS, I think it's pretty okay. Will I go out and buy the album, no. But if I heard it on the radio would I run away in disgust, no. If I'm gonna listen to pop music I'd rather listen to some dance-infused version of it, cheesy or not... besides that's the nature of pop music to begin with. Accept it. Move on.

that makes me wanna cut my ears off

Posted by AY STAR on Jul-22-2009 03:34:

this is prob on the same level, if not worse

this comming from the same man who talked shit about dj sammy and cheesey music

Posted by Existo22 on Jul-22-2009 05:40:

Yeah man I just don't get David Guetta. I mean... how do you go collaborating with a multi-platinum R&B Singer to make a lot of money without even thinking what the people on tranceaddict will think about it first? Coz if it was me I would tell Akon that I am not interested in collaborating with him... money and mainstream exposure is not important to me. What is important is the opinion of people on internet forums.

Posted by bas on Jul-22-2009 06:29:

The only good thing David Guetta ever did was "A Little More Love", and it wasn't even the original that was magic.

I guess it has 1-2 years lifetime, then it will die because of scumbags like Armin.
I don't want to talk about this Guetta shit, this track is disgusting!

They are too busy making music that sells in the excess of 37 copies worldwide.

lol. Armin and Tiesto in history books:"The two Dutch DJ's who destroyed the entire Trance scene." Think Armin's next song should be a remix of "I've got the power".

Reminds me of a Dutch cola commercial:"Strong taste for such a small country".

Seriously, if they can kill the scene it even shouldn't be called a scene.

but i thought you wanted the oldschool and underground to return? the days when people bought vinyl and cared more about the music and exposure of good sound than mainstream values and popularity?

oh wait...
