Have you been in a fight?
This came up in a recent discussion; I've always maintained that every man, or at least every man who calls himself a man, has been in at least one fight. This turned out to be a surprise for some people. A quick spot-check showed there to be at least some truth to my theory, but I want to try this on a larger sample.
By the way, this is for the guys. Women can respond too if you consider yourselves manly men, but as this is kind of about stereotypes, I'm really only interested in the male votes.
So, the question is:
When was the last time you were in a fight?
As far as I'm concerned, a fight might be anything from a simple jerseying to full-blown kung fu, but I'm looking for at least these three things:
1. It has to have been a physical fight - arguments don't count, no matter how heated, not even if you threw things.
2. It has to be mutual; if either you or your combatant didn't fight back at all, it doesn't count.
3. There must be an intent to cause real harm or embarrassment - so playfully punching a friend in the shoulder, or sparring in your martial arts class, does not count.
For those giving an answer other than "never", it would also be interesting to hear why you got into the fight(s), so feel free to post details. 
Yep. Me and Shannon (better known to TAs as Shay) in elementary school, lol. 
The last time I got into a worth-mentioning physical fight was in High School--nowadays it's a different sort of fight.

Oh I also beat the shit out of some dude when I was 14. Motherfucker was calling my mom names so I let my dog off the leash to attack him while I kicked him in the shins with my rollerblades on. When he fell to the ground I continued to kick him in the back.
Oh, and the LAST time I got into a fight was 3-4 years ago at a local bar. Some bitch opened the stall door while I was peeing, so when I came out, enraged, I attacked her and pulled her shirt down - exposing the ugliest banana titties I've ever seen. My buddy pointed and laughed and bunch of other dudes walking by (this was in the guy's bathroom, obviously) laughed too. So she attacked me back. She got kicked out and waited for me outside, where she tried to attack me again...but my buddies all jumped in the way to protect me, lol. God she was an ugly fucking whore.

me and my friend got jumped at the guv lcbo parking lot about 3 years ago by a group of drunk polish idiots. We were walking to our car and they were raging punching and kicking cars. I guess they saw us talk to some girls that they knew/liked at the club and waited for us outside. We got into a fight, my friend punched some guy in the face and i think broke his nose. I tried to throw some punches but couldn't really do much while i was getting beaten lol. Then they heard police sirens jumped in cars and took off.
i keep seeing one of the guys that knocked me in the face at clubs randomly here and there,(he's a big guy, i think he was on juice back in the day because he was massive) i tried to instigate shit with him at the guv after that incident while the bouncers waited so i could get him banned but he has never tried to start shit again..last weekend he actually apologized to me when he saw me again and we had a talk.
ive been in two fights. one in grade seven when i got my ass handed to me on a silver platter and another time in niagara in front of a club called Seneca. it was all out street brawl with a bunch of guys. that was fun.

I haven't been in a scrap since highschool....i pretend i'm classy now..
actually my last fight was outside of a club called nightloose..all because i was sticking up for some dude that was getting jumped (i was always a social worker at heart)...some chick didn't like me calling her cousin an asshole and a punk so wanted to fight..i won ....and then i got rushed by all her friends in the mr. sub..and then her male cousin tried to punch me in the face so my buddies kicked his ass...and i pissed blood the next day..

The only fight I was ever in was when I played lacrosse.

I've been in two fights.....
1. I grew up in Brampton and during junior high there was this group of black chicks who used to pick on me, like literally, knock my books out of my hand, trip me as I walked by, threw things at me. This went on for like 4 months. I didn't tell my rents cause there was nothing they could do. So I took it into my own hands. One day when she tripped me, I got in her face and said, 'you and me, down by the bleachers after school'. lol. And so, we fought it out, kicks, punches, hair pulling, you name it, we did it. I was so f'ing mad at her, I unleashed my everything. Which wasn't much at that age... oh might I add she was like 6 feet tall and I was like 5. Anyways, someone called the cops, our parents ended up getting involved No charges laid. and she never looked or touched me again.
Since Martial art classes are excluded, I'll speak for the "competitive" martial artist
334 fights from the time I was 11 to the time I was 24
AAA Rated NMAC CAN AM, A and B rated Open tournaments.
Best fights are the CAN AM....turnout of roughly 1,000 and best trophies too(Usually 6ft trophy or sword for first place).
