in terms of weather, has this not been one of the shittiest summers in recent memory?

stupid canada. ugh.

The past few summers have been quite shitty IMo. But this is definitely one of the shittier ones.

Yes, it's total crap....I moved here 3 years ago, and I am starting to get more and more disappointed with Toronto weather...I just came back from BC on Sunday, and the weather is fantastic there, but coming back here was a total buzzkill...

This is where I consider myself a good gauge cos I have only been here 5 years.

Summers 1, 2, 3 - Fucking beautiful, some days, it would feel like stepping outside and landing in a bowl of chicken soup

Summers 4, 5 - Fucking AWFUL

All that has been said is the jetstream is pushing southerly winds away and allowing the northerly winds. BUT WHY?!?!

Its sad looking in my closet at all the cute summer dresses that I havent worn

June was much nicer than July I think... I spent almost every lunch outside soaking in the rays (even it was only 23)... July seems to be overcast nearly every day.

I miss summer.

it's been pretty mild so far...but watch August kick us all in the ass and we'll complain that it's too hot and humid, lol.

I don't mind this weather at all, though a bit more heat and sun would be nice.

I'd love a moderate climate (like San Fran, for e.g.) where it gets hot, but not usually 'nasty' hot...and they have 'winter', but nothing a sweater or hoodie can't handle.

15-25 celsius every day, all year...that would be heaven!

It's not just the weather in general, it's the weather on weekends. There have been only a couple of nice weekends so far this summer.

I've had to cancel a camping trip, a trip to the beach, a boat cruise has been ruined, and it rained during Pride. I'm supposed to go white water rafting on the weekend and it's going to be raining the entire time.

The weather has only worked out for me once this summer.

Weather: The only thing that you will hear people complain about in all situations. Mother nature just can't please everyone.

The goodnews:

I haven't required air conconditing all summer = sleep at night!
There have been no smog or humidex warning to date.
If it were to be HOT we would be loving the garbage stike even more.
Its still warm enough to wear a t shirt.

I never complain
We get more cold months than hot months so I enjoy it no matter how hot it is.
