Pitbull - Hotel Room Service

Has anyone heard this song yet? I just heard it this weekend at a club in Boston and my jaw dropped.

It's a hip-hop song that samples "Nightcrawlers - Push The Feeling On." I'm not gonna lie though, I actually like it a little.

But what do you guys think? Is dance music just that much closer to going mainstream? What really bothers me is that I could probably play every remix of "Push The Feeling On" to people and they'll say "it's gay," but those same people would be all over this song.

Here's the link:

Pitbull = hack

He just samples catchy EDM and puts a crappy hip hop vocal over it

case and point: "75 brazil street" with his crappy "1, 2, 3, 4" placed on top of it

HACKKKK

make your own damn beats!

I actually like Pitbull's version more than the original.

Catchy electronic riffs + dance music beats + lyrics about sex = $$$$$

If I had to pick someone from the entire planet to die, Pitbull would be pretty fucking high in my shortlist.

more entry points for people to get into electronic dance music = win in my book.

There are probably less retarded entry points. This stuff is no more electronic than most other gangsta/bitchesnhoes music anyway.

And why is it so important to get into electronic dance music?

never understood that either.
for some it seems to be like a crusade to convert people into EDM.

Yea, all we need, 14 year old guidos going around listening to "good" house tracks such as "Love is gone" having a totally wrong interpretation about EDM.
