Help my earphones have broken :(

I have a pair of Shure SE110's and the damn wire from the right earpiece to the y connector thingy is tearing away

I need to find the circled replacement part or something equivalent!

anyone know the name of the part i have circled in red (picture) and would i need to crimp it?

thanks!

Mine are fucked too. it's funny cos they have beem for about 2 years. I hear music in each side but they actually only play the same side, eg. I miss out totally on elements in the right hand channel

thats terrible! how the hell do you go day to day. i can hear it in one ear only now, its annoying! any idea what that part is called?

any audio visual engineers or electricians in the house?>

Posted by lenazi on Jul-23-2009 19:44:

why would you want to repair horrible earphones that are not even worth the price they charge for them ie: they will keep breaking until you actually buy a good pair that will last and not sound like audio diarrhea?

useless comment, maybe.

useless earphones: absolutely.

People who listen to house have no say in this. Their music consists of a fork tapping on a block of wood. Unlike trance where you require the beautiful work of the shure's to get those highs, those lows, those rainbows and those flows. The river of the Colorado licks my eardrums, the marshmallows of the synths massage my brain. I gotta go!

Buy new shures.
