any store in the Bay that sells glowsticks?

hi,

Find a party store. Just about any party store should. If they don't they're lame!

There's SF Party on Post. http://www.sfparty.com/ - never been in it, so I can't guarantee they have glow sticks.

Kow there's a Party Warehouse just south of SF, and a Party City (which I know carries them) right near the Serramonte Mall in Daly City.

walmart has them for cheap in the camping section. I know some drug stores have them too. Raleys and Safeway should have them in the camping gear section also.

The 99 Stores have them too, and so does Home Depot.

Target has them for a 1.75..really bright ones too..Fry's sometimes has them for 1.25..Any of the Party stores usually have them as well..

are these the ones u guys usually get?

also, i was actually looking for them micro light LEDs, but had a hard time finding those. the closest i found were some really cheap lookin ones at Frys. where would i get those?

Posted by mattW on Jul-24-2009 22:29:

lol, all of the TAs are so helpful and plur today. What is going on?

i think the best prices for LEDs are on ebay

Posted by babygodzilla on Jul-24-2009 22:43:

are those LEDs not sold at a brick and mortar store?

Posted by ThomasPhan on Jul-25-2009 06:38:

Even Home Depot have them, no joke.

Posted by ThomasPhan on Jul-25-2009 06:43:

And DjWoody is right about the dollar store. They have them there too.

Posted by xCxStylex on Jul-26-2009 21:45:

I buy mine online or from the dollar store.

Considering the cost of shipping and the low low profit margins, it costs the same to buy them from the dollar store as it does online.

LED keychain lights like inovas/keychain lights, try ebay . or www.plurlights.com <---gf runs the website, pm me and ill ask her to hook you up with 10% off

Posted by babygodzilla on Jul-27-2009 18:11:

Firefox gives me a "Reported attack site!" error when I click on plurlights.com

What's the deal with that?

Posted by HotDogWater on Jul-27-2009 18:24:

yeah my virus checker blocks a trojan horse from that site too

are we talking about freehand or strings? Message me for more info if you interested in using strings.

I have found that Target has the Coleman brand which is best for strings.

For free handing any brand will do, Green is always brighter, then goes yellow. I stay away from red and especially blue since they dull out faster.

glowarehouse.com, xtremeglow.com - for quality sticks

genxglow.com, and glowstringing.com - to learn

youtube has the best tuts.

happy sticking!
