I bought and downloaded the psy trance tutorials and can say I am definitely getting my moneys worth. The videos are pitched at just the right level for me to understand (beginner to intermediate) and the teaching style is quite good. There are hours and hours of videos and I have only digested the percs, bass and kick construction videos so far.
My only (very minor) complaint so far is not quite understanding how the frequencies are chosen for boosting or cutting for EQ. It is explained/shown what happens when those cuts/boosts are done really clearly - this is something I never got from just reading stuff. I can see choosing the frequencies is a matter of experience and practice and not something easily taught in a video tutorial though
...but if anyone wanted to give me some pointers...
Hey Sonic Dolphin thanks for the nice words about the course.
Regarding the issues you have with eq, check out the free videos called "Mixing and Tuneing" which should have some information in therte which will help you. I also have some EQ charts which i will upload as soon as i have time in the free section.
all the best,
Mark

Hi All,
It has been just over a week now since i released the course and would like to say thank you to all of you that purchased it. I would also like to ask a favour in that those of you who have purchased it I would appreciate some feedback/reviews/testimonials regarding the course for my testimonial page.
Please send replies to [email protected]
all the best,
Mark
Hi Mark,
Sure, no problem, I will give you feed back on your tutorial set when I have finished it.
You will have to be patient cos it will be a while - there is so much! Thanks for putting all this together - it is helping me a lot. I am especially slow because I recently got Komplete 5 and am distracted by/exploring FM8 and Reaktor as I go through your tutorials. I just made a drum synth in Reaktor to do all the stuff you were demonstrating in various bits of software so I now have a one stop shop...now for the next tutorial...!
HI,
Glad your liking the course Sonic Dolphin.
I wonder, did you get my email/newsletter regarding future plans for my courses etc?
Reaktor is a beast and i may use it in an upcoming course i am planning to do. One thing i will say, dont ignore the effects capabilities of Reaktor, this is something a lot of people do, and you shouldnt, its awesome.
anyhoo all the best,
Mark
