Falony - Doop Doop on the Juice [hiphop/instrumental hiphop/naggers]

Alright, so I had a bit more fun with this and the mixing certainly suffered a bit. Yes, I know the transition at 26 minutes is fucking wretched. Yes, I know there's a Black Eyed Peas track in there. Maybe the flow isn't the best either. But I hope this mix comes off as fun, rather light, but overall decent.

I rocked stunna shades the entire time.

Honestly I think the last one was better but this one's got some fun tracks on it.

I'd be a terrible promoter, lol.

Thanks for checking it out though, haha.

Download isn't working for me. I get about the first 7/8 minutes of the set but the rest doesn't download. Anybody else having this problem, or is my computer just fuxed?

Posted by Demoted on Aug-02-2009 12:39:

Hmm. Everything I've hosted on my ftp has worked fine thus far. I'll upload it to megaupload later if needed.

IT CAN'T FAIL, IT'S ON DREAMHOST

Happened to me the first time I tried, but tried it again and it worked flawlessly. Fast download, too! (Around 600 KB/sec is pretty good for my connection here at work.)

Giving this one a whack, looks interesting. Though, I worry about listening to hip-hop sets at work due to language, so it might be headphones time.

This mix was fantastic! I really enjoyed. This is some true, good hip-hop. Refreshing to hear stuff like this.

You're definitely more skilled in mixing hip-hop than I. Great job with the transitions. Fantastic track selection. Lots of good hip-hop breakbeats and hooks with some nice lyricism.

I even enjoyed the Black Eyed Peas track. Don't tell anyone.

Great job, keeping this one around for a while.

Thanks

I honestly thought the mixing was a little rough in this, but maybe that's just how most hip hop mixes sound (I don't listen to many, though I remember listening to a couple from PQM, yes the same guy that made You Are Sleeping, and they were TIGHTLY mixed, like, pristiiiine).

I do like to listen to a fair amount of hiphop though. I grew up on the stuff when I went to school in the ghettoish area back when I was 8. Haha, Kriss Kross and Notorious.

Glad you all enjoy eeeet.

Posted by david.michael on Aug-05-2009 18:25:

Most hip-hop sets I've heard are a bit sloppy tbh, since they focus more on quick cuts and fast beatmixed transitions than what I'm used to listening to. So, I tend to be fairly forgiving when it comes to stuff like this.

I'm not an expert, though.

Nice set, few errors here and there but it honestly seems to fit the music (not in a negative way). My interest in hiphop of this sort is growing.
