general question about VJ'ing, and videos at clubs in general

Hello everyone.
I got out of the DJ world for some time now. I have some general questions about the video usage in clubs and at parties. how they setup the LCD screens with all those videos that are in almost every major party and club. I want to understand how everything works regarding what equipment is being used and how all the parts connect to each other. I'm intrested in whats being commonly done today

1. What is the common setup for video screens at parties? do they use those VJ mixers to display all those videos? or do they use a computer with some kind of program and connect it somehow to all those screens? what exactly is being done usually at most clubs and parties from your experience?

2. since I usually see that the DJs at the clubs just handle the music, but videos are still being played all over at the party, my guess is that clubs usually dont setup the videos using VJ mixers that are handled by the dj himself. so what setup do they use for videos? who is operating it? is it a computer? if so what software is being used? to what equipment all the lcd screens at the club are being connected to and how its connected to the computer?
please decribe me the whole setup so I can understand, if u can.

3. if a VJ mixer like the pioneer svm-1000 is used, how the mixer connects to all those screens? sometimes there are many, and the screens also might be far from each other. is some kind of a video hub connects to the mixer and from there to the screens? how exactly do they setup the VJ mixer with the screens?
