when was the last time you partied like a nutso?
when was the last time you partied like nutso?
i'm sitting here waiting for the work week to end and just realized that it's been a long time since i really had a CRAZY night out.
I'd say memorial day weekend in Vegas was pretty fuck'n nuts though. From start of the day to the end of the night (actually 10AM) was TOTALLY AWESOME!!! From watching the playoffs with a bunch of friends, going to Club XS, partying at the hotel room, Club Rain w/ Eddie Halliwell, FAILing to get into Drai's AfterHours and then ending up at the Penthouse... It just all seemed like an adventure. A very "hazy" adventure i can barely remember.
whens the last time you guys got out and partied it up like rockstars.
July 18th
rang in the ladies bday in a las vegas nightclub with way to many sugar cubes for any one man. Icey & Jes really now how to kill a psychedelic buzz though, If they only would have had that tower opened at the stratosphere it would have been epic to ride that sling shot thingy

The last time John Tejada played at Compression. That was a fun night.
The various warehouse parties i've been to have always been pretty crazy...
Last time??? hummmm.... I can't remember.
Last weekend
I used to do Thurs-Sunday on a regular basis back in the day, while still going to work the Friday. Booze only most of the time, if not sober!. There was a time where 4 hours of sleep was a lot for me...but it wasn't like I was sleep deprived, back then I'd wake up feeling like a million bucks after a 3-4 hour sleep. And no matter how long I was up, when I'd fall asleep I'd just wake up few hours later.
So even on weekends where I did pass out, it was usually only maybe an hour, three at the most. Four was rare. I would always just wake up and feel refreshed.
My crew was awesome. We'd usually hang out during non-club hours then go our seperate ways because we liked diff music and then just meet up the next morning somewhere lol....spent so many days at the Endup. I kinda kept all my crews seperate. Work crew, the friends crew, and the club crew.
There's a crew in SF (some of them are TAs!) who are the closest group of peeps I know who could party basically long as we did back in the day without being completely mindf&cked...but I still am not sure they could hang with how long we'd do things back then. Well maybe they could, but not as easily as we did it lol...
That's not to say we didn't have some fun weekends back then, but most weekends it was just about the music & booze.
I have heard epic things abotu Sarah/gypsygirl though from when peeps travel down here to LA, though. lol.
I can't hang these days though. Prob because there's no more full nights of sleep (got a family now) so I just get tired easier. Also don't fight my body anymore to keep going when it's saying it would be smart to just get some sleep. I think with the family and all, my brain's instinct is just different these days.
Now, if I got a chance to spend a full weekend somewhere where I didn't have to worry about responsibilities other than getting there and getting home and have the night off after I get home, I could get into that mental state to keep going. Cause these days, even when I am out of town I just think of how I don't want to be dead when I get back home because I still have to take care of my son that evening once I get back, hehe...
That's as general as I can be. Don't want to implicate other (TAs) and/or myself from all crazines over the years.
Sarah is incredible because how well she is able to maintain near perfect composure during long stretches. Most people get too drunk or too messed up on stuff, the key to doing it well is moderation, remaining comfortable, and control. The professionals know this
I like to go crazy but I also love to sleep, and knowing when to stop is also the hallmark of a professional party person.
Yeah, the key for me is maintaining composure. When I don't, it can end bad. It has happened before lol. It used to happen often, but very few times int he last five-six years.
I think you can go absolutely crazy and sleep at the same time. THere was the day when it was like a competition to see who could last the longest, but I'm way past that. I can have just as much fun w/o having to stay up the entire weekend.
Leaving Ruby Skye at 12 NOON during the whole Digweed on Friday and Tenaglia on Saturday back to back weekend. This was yyyyyyyyyyears ago. Mind you we would of stayed till 2PM when Tenaglia closed but we had to check out of our hotel. haha
My cut off is 6AM now the MAX! By 4ish, I'm pretty much done.=X
Rarely if ever unless i'm in Ibiza.
WMC - save up all year to party non stop. However, Vegas during memorial day weekend was insane as well. Pool party - club - afterparty club/house - repeat.

it's been a long time
pft!! last time i partied that hard was from age 21 to 26.. now i'm on a down slope...
other things are just more important than staying up til 12pm sunday. yikes.
once in awhilei guess..
Ibiza, Miami and Vegas (of course
Nights in LA...it really has to do with the people you surround yourself with. Most nights I wanna have fun, I make sure I'm not around negative energy.
Some people can keep up, others can't. Some DJ's can get the extra umph out of you. Some crowds kill the mood.
Its also nice when you actually have a reason to party. And as Sarah mentioned...work hard, party harder. Its great to blow off some steam dancing like a maniac.
