Record Labels

If you had an original uplifting trance track, and you thought it had a chance of being signed and doing quite well, what labels would you target?

As you may be aware, as stated before, i work for ministry of sound in a separate house scene, but i have always had a passion for trance and just recently have started to create my own tracks and also remix others.

I guess being new to this massive scene, i need a little help in finding labels who may like my material, the track i have is 100% original, its kinda progressive in its nature, uplifting, and kicks ass into the chorus!!

Any help from anyone, would be hugely appreciated

Look forward to the replies

are you serious??

there are many respected labels out there.Off the top of my head i will list a few

Enhanced recordings
Vandit records
Monster Tunes
RecoverWorld/EVE/Discover/Flux Delux.

my guess is that they all take demos.Good luck and can you post a sample in the producer part of the forum.

There are also a host of net-centric labels popping up, that minimize overhead and give them the ability to take more risks with new artists.

Sign with one of Andrew Parsons' (sub)labels. You'll be sure to receive no compensation nor credit, etc. Win-win, IMO.

I could swear every pretentious asshole who listens to electronic music with musical opinions no one gives a shit about lurk in this forum. Because it's their own opinion, and opinions are like assholes.

I don't off the top of my head know I'm sorry. But you can tell a net-centric label because most of their releases will be files and not vinyl or cd.

music that is not produced mostly for money, with bunch of vocals that doesnt fit in, and tracks for 15 year old kiddies.

It's not that I know a lot of netlabels, but I'm aware of Rawmatroid. They have a consistent bunch of good releases in the progressive-electronic side of things.
