Breakdowns

Being new, I'm obviously not sure what the general consensus is on what makes a good trance track, but to me it's all about the emotion and the complexity of the breakdowns. Anyone else feel the same way?

Personally I don't think anyone can currently keep up with Andy Blueman, even his first few releases (Nyctalopia especially) had some incredibly well done breakdowns, and every song he's released since has gotten better and better.

This was released currently, for anyone who's unfamiliar with him. Production-wise it's possibly his best work to date:

Arctic Moon may be the only one who can match Blueman's quality, especially in his remix of Oceania's Never Forget. Oceania and Aly & Fila both make some incredible songs as well, but I don't know many other artists who consistently have high-quality breakdowns in their songs. Anyone have any other good artists like them?

That's the most over the top breakdown I've heard since Ace Da Brain.

Mark Otten - Tranquility (Markus Schulz Remix) is one of the better breakdowns i can think of:

epic-ness starts around 4:42.

meh. Its very subtle, flat, and boring actually. i don't find it epic. When it comes to breakdowns its all about Airwave.
