Montreal Hate thread

Here are the things i hate about Montreal
Other than being a great city for some really cool people there are some other uncool things about it.

the city officials are blatantly anti-english for some strange bitter reason. they seem to carry a grudge thrugh generations instaed of grwoing up and becoming the international cosmo city it "could" be.

their streets signs, subway signs and metro passes and signs are all in French only while most city's in Canada )toronto, ottawa, new brunswick, etc bend over backwards to have everything bilingual. englsih speakers are more or less shut out of eveeryhting even in emergency situations their signs are french only. They are only hurting themselves because alot of american tourists opt for something / some place they can understand and they lose out on alot of revenue, poor idiots can't see that. their subway system is outdated and not handicapped friendly. Most of the people who work in customer service are rude, tacky and nasty.

there's a ton more but i'll give you a chance to chimne in.

i don't think the frenchies give a shit about tourism. as far as they're concerned, the americans can't stay the fuck away. lol and i don't blame them. look how fucked and obnoxious americans are compared to canada. most canadians don't even lock their front doors...because they don't need to.

So it's Montreal's problem because YOU don't understand French? Don't get out much, do you? Lol.



Montreal is amazing. I don't visit enough. :/

of course they care alot of american tourism. without it the city suffers greatly. dont be stupid. Even when the american dollar was on par with the can. dollara nd tourism to the city took a tiny dive, they were all up in arms . all over the news> city revenue suffers. besides this thread isn't about anti-pro american. its about the nasty ones in mtl who get away with being shit heads

well aside from being cheap, i don't think the people from montreal are shitheads. the ones i know are super laid back. love to be together and eat good food and have a good time. "don't cry over spilled milk" type of people. and very rich. there's some rich ass mofos up there.

The only reason I hate Montreal is out of jealousy.

They're the only city I know of that can turn a 3-lane road into a 6-lane road, with road-side parking, on both sides of the road.
