Las Vegas Nightlife Tip

Hello TA's

Can you advice me on some good night clubs at Las Vegas... Like edm style of music.. I will staying at Las Vegas Aug 30 - Sep 5 also i might go to Los Angelle s...

Any advice would be highly appreciated

The west coast forum is pretty active and they have been helpful planning my trip to Cali.

Theres a huge party stickyed on the first page the 3-6 of Sept.

pool parties are decent too.. Wet Republik and Rehab. You can go to their websites to see the edm lineups, etc. You do that during the day then at night you go to the bars.

I was just there the end of June and did a lot of snoopin around. First suggestion is to go in the West coast forum and post the question. I did that and had several different people send me contacts/events to look into. Second, check the thread USA - West Coast > Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Washington, & Oregon Events and you'll see some bigger postings..right now August line up is weak, doesnt even ilist one you'll be there for....but there's always a party in vegas!!!

'THE' places i was suggested to go each day of the week:

Monday - Pure (I went on a monday, massive lineup by 11, cover was 30/guy 20/girl. Drinks about $10-$15/drink or shot. Main room was playing top 40, but the patio is there you want to be! Excellent view of the strip, plenty of bottle tables, house music all night. Closes between 4 + 5 if i remember correctly)

Tuesday - Godskitchen party hosted at the Hard Rock (didnt checkout myself)

Wednesday - I heard LAX is busy wednesdays...but by a non-edm source so I dont know what it'd be music wise...more than one room though

Thursday - Tao nightlub, (I was there on a thursday, line up before the club opens, I suggest what we did: have dinner at the restaurant attached, GREAT FOOD, and you can ask your sever about getting a stamp. We got two, one line by pass + one for no cover. Ins + outs allowed!!! Most "toronto" like club experience i had there. Mostly heard top 40, then house...heard it closes at 4...didnt stay for the music past 2...nice looking club, SWEET roof top patio with hooka pipes, great decor and a swimming pool! Drinks about the same price...i remember their Effen Seven drink was $16 + tip. two rooms besides roof top "Tao Beach".

OPEN THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY
Drai's - Afterhours nightclub. Las Vegas's "zone". Opens at 1 or 2 am, goes till 9 or 10. Two rooms, House (will post a video below taken at 4:30am, bongo player complete) and hip hop. Cover was 20/guys 10/girls, bouncer at Tao was able to get me reduced for 10. BRING GIRLS. There's no traditional line up at Drai's, just a velvet rope sectioned off infront of stairs + an elevator down. Bouncer picks who gets let it, groups with girls are always first unless you know someone...in my case that Tao bouncer told me a name to say. You can tell there's resident club goers, sketchy crowd, dressed up crowd, and old asian crowds.

I wasnt there for the weekend last month, but i'm going back in 2 weeks(!!!!!!) Thursday-Sunday so im about to start looking for the best places to go. I'll let you know what i find out. So far just:

Saturday: Rain nightclub, paul oakenfold hosts Perfecto each week. Dont know for sure if he is there every week it brings in talent. August looks like:

8/8, Perfecto w/Max Graham @ Rain, Las Vegas, NV
8/15, Perfecto w/Mid Summer Nights Dream party (dont know exact Dj)@ Rain, Las Vegas, NV
8/22, Perfecto w/Bad Boy Bill @ Rain, Las Vegas, NV

Other clubs that I was told are geared for EDM are XS and Body English..don't know which nights they are good for. Keep you updated/let me know what you find out!

My friends just got back from Vegas and they said there was an awesome day/night party called REHAB... it's like a 10 hr party every sunday on the rooftop of some building.
They said it was unbelievable.

I heard amazing things about the Rehab parties...my friend Tommy went last September. There is/was a reality tv show about it...watched it once.

My advice, if you're offered to get on any guest list ever, get on it.
We got in for free to a few parties just because one of us at our hotel just randomly put themselves on g-list for a number of events that we didn't even care to look at.
Rain @ Palms was a good time. By 11pm line up was ridiculous..
TAO club was too top 40 for me, but a very nice place to have dinner at

and p.s. bring lots of sunscreen!!!!!!!!!!

I went to seamless.....i dont get how thats an afterhours? its just a 24/7 stripclub!!! (from what i could tell at least...5am-7am).....but if you'd recommend it then next weekend when im back i'll check it out!!!! Looking for an aferhours thursday/sat/sun. would u suggest Studio 54 any of those nights?

I would never suggest studio 54.

Ya i forgot to mention that seamless has strippers in it but seriously combining a strip club with afterhours is the best as long as you can say no. Depending on the night there is only gogo dancers after 4am. Also check it out friday as they just made starkillers and austin leeds residents for friday.

http://www.crazyhorse3.com/ another strip club with after hours, however the strippers arent aloud to go into the after hours part, click obsession link. this starts at 2am.

Also you can try it if you want, worse that can happen is you get stopped. Locals are for free, so they dont stop at the counter to pay, before i had my nevada id i would just walk right by the counter girl and never paid once.

Id start out at Rain. Then, both of these clubs are real close to each other, the local crowd will go from one to the other over and over til 1pmish. From there at 1pm you can go to mgm wet. All depends on whether you like sleep or not.

!! sweet thanks, just checked starkillers myspace, 5 AM to whenever w/ austin leeds THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! i completely overlooked this when i went last time...then again it was a monday..maybe not much was happening

Seamless is kinda meh....Drai's is much better...plus it's kind of pointless to be partying into the next afternoon in Vegas imo....the city has so much more to offer. Besides, most places you go...even if they do play house....it's going to be 3.5 year old dated electro house...the best thing to do is just check out the clubs on the nights they're supposed to be good....ie Tao on a Thursday....that's Vegas....hit up Drai's for a couple of hours after the club....catch a quick nap.....wake up and hit up a pool party/poolside/walk the strip and drink cheap ass booze...repeat.
