The tune you await Peak Time

What is your favourite peak time track at the moment?

The tune you await the dj to play at that particular time?

Im searching through tracks on TID and lookin for a peak time gem, i have a few in mind to go with the tracks i already have at the moment, but thought i would ask the board what they feel "goes off" at the moment!

well it really all depends on what you play.

edit: though I'm not against dropping a trance anthem in the middle of a deep house set... and please youtube it when you do.

I really love Sharam - Party All The Time (Cedric Gervais & Second Sun Remix) -- and only this mix of it. I played this at a buddy's penthouse Halloween party last year and the whole place started to explode at about the 5:25 mark.

malaplace thats exactly what im after that type of reaction

@ denys envy, thats what i was looking at doing, or maybe not such a "trance anthem" maybe sumthin still up to date with a slightly diffferent twist to it, which would capture the listener at teh right time

Still my one of my all time favorites, my god, I've only heard this track in a club once. I just remember taking my shirt off and asking the dj the name of this shit. This is a link to a sample, click play.

Algarve - Seashore(Sturmkraft remix)

I would die if someone dropped "Haddaway - What Is Love?" in the middle of a Deep House set

Posted by Adam420 on Aug-05-2009 22:46:

It depends entirely on what DJ is playing.

ce ce peniston - finally

Posted by justin on Aug-05-2009 22:56:

DAve 202 & Phil Green - Until The End, yes uber cheese, and I also love "Twisted"

this was back in 2003 though.

I suppse the trands in EDM these days, sounding mostly minimalish, lack the antematic Euro Dance theme that first got me into EDM.

Havn't been listening to current stuff. Too much catchin up to do.

also, i'm going to bet at some point in time luciano/villalobos played this as an encore:

Louis Prima & Phil Harris - I Wanna Be Like You (The Monkey Song) (The Jungle Book)

sick remix i can bet too, probably a reboot/dan andrei production

Posted by enydo on Aug-06-2009 04:32:

I'm lame and way too into this track but if I had to be 100% truthful the top of my list would be:

Heller & Farley - The Rising Sun [Bedrock Remix]

Posted by Dan1584 on Aug-06-2009 05:22:

As cliche as it is... Bedrock - Heaven Scent (Original Mix)... I just want to hear it dropped at the right time. Preferably by Diggers himself.

I've been waiting ages for Asbrey to do this, if he builds it, I will come.

Get it? Come.

edit: Deep house -> Techno, but still..

For a more serious answer you'd have to specify what kind or audience there is and what kind of set was played. But dropping Blackout Crew would certainly get results almost anywhere.

Nah, that's what the rest of the set should be. Then you play Put a Donk on it as a peak tune and awesomeness is created!

*starts Traktor*

It has been played to death and then some, but I still think that track is actually pretty good.
