How easy is your job?

I don't have a job yet...still going to college, but I did have a part-time job teaching Karate to small kids and it was painful as hell!

My job is either really easy and relaxed, or VERY difficult and stressful, never inbetween .

If it's an easy day, I'll shut my office door and play on the internets and TA all day. If it's a busy day, I absolutely work my arse off. There doesn't seem to be a happy medium with my job.

i'm a student, but i am an intern for entertainment tonight on cbs.

i get their coffee, make fun of the fat guy (bonus points if i can come up with a new nickname... so far i've come up with Hamuel Adams & Hammy Hagar), & essentially kiss their ass.

i actually love it there. if i could work there i'd be a happy TA.

how easy is my job? Well yesterday i spent 8 hrs shopping online. Today i spent 4 hrs shopping online, then went for a 2 hr lunch buffet. I watched a few videos on casttv.com, then i spent the rest of the afternoon trying to find stores that carry the Guinness 250.

tech support + fundamental understanding of computers/electronics = ezmode

most fun part is verbally dominating ignorant welfare people who don't pay their bills. or better yet snobby doctors who demand that their tickets be put ahead of other residential accounts because they're doctors and have 'research' to send. then tell them my supervisor can't help them, that their threats to cancel service do not prioritize them or dictate policy, that they can't have my last name or the CEO's phone #, do not pass go and collect $200. and that i'm sorry i have to disconnect their call and they can call back when they aren't feeling so upset and verbally abusive, hmmmmmK sir? you also bumped into the ceiling which needs to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing. good day sir. i said GOOD DAY!

This. I'm either being lazy, doing jack shit all day, or busting my ass to try and make a deadline that my boss plopped on me at the last second.

Difficult.

The hardest part about my job is getting hours and pulling in clients. Other than that I really love working with defense attorneys, but I wouldn't want to be one.

I deliver pharmaceutical products to different accounts ranging from around 34 up to 47 locations a day. It's very simple work with the exception of watching out for crazy fucking drivers on the road and some locations are a bitch to deliver to.

Well back at work. Just finished getting some breakfast at burgerking, crack some old jokes to one of my coworkers, and now I trying to see what I van do to kill time. I really want to work, but I can't find a damn thing to. I hate being bored.

Wait new topic JUST happened. The topic is how much toilet paper does person really need. Random topic that somebody just brought up. We have too much time on our hands.

I spent the last month doing nothing. I filled out the time sheet and it was hilarious. Too bad I just gave my notice. My boss has no work to give me so he's putting together a photo scavenger hunt to do before I quit.

Posted by Scottaculous on Aug-07-2009 17:38:

on tuesday, i stayed up to 3am working and then got up at 6am to prepare for a 8am meeting.
