)
Check out: Dawn Of Ashes, Nachtmahr, Yade, Terrolokaust, Die Sektor, and Squirrelly Arts first.
Well I really like combichrist (after hearing a few of his aggrotech songs, it's a great style, not that his ebm stuff isn't good). Velvet acid chirst is also great. So I'm going to have to check out some of these artists... although not really into anything that is too electro though.
These bands help you ease into the genre. I'm quite into electronic music, hip hop, and metal all the same. It's not too hard to get into just ease yourself.

Was fucking awesome in the context of a club.

Anything Andy LaPlegua seems to have done was pretty good either as Icon of Coil or Combichrist.
Dont listen to a lot of aggrotech, but a few favorite other bands what are slightly more obscure-
Die Krupps, bits and pieces of electronic/industrial rock. Similar in some ways to late 80's and early 90's Ministry
Funker Vogt, lots and lots of great tracks by these guys, 'Gunman' is an old favourite
Tactical Sekt... well they're just kind of intense really
I guess this thread is gonna turn into a youtube thread so why not.
S.A.M.
Soman
Xotox
Shnarph!
Modulate
I totally forgot Alien Vampires! Great group!
Alien Vampires is really good, and so is Xotox. But some of the stuff you posted isn't in Dark Electro or Aggrotech genre. Some of it was Power electro or just some heavy trance. Still great stuff though.
WTF is aggrotech?

I already justified that statement, why do you have to bring it up. Am I surrounded by idiots...?

| Originally posted by Seppuku I never said anything about metal, I actually used to listen to a lot of it before I got into EDM. Just not 18 year old slit my wrists stuff. That "aggrotech" video you posted, however...is just shit terrible. |
I was mostly into math metal, stuff like Botch, Dillinger, Cave In, etc...I'm not going to argue with you about metal, because I don't listen to it anymore.

People here listen to house, techno, trance... and sometimes psy, hardstyle, dnb, dubstep idm etc
aggrotech is mostly associated with goth stuff afaik so I can understand why they haven't heard of it.
and noob/nub is just immature. Don't try and justify. Does it matter if someone's musically not well informed? So long as they don't think hardstyle/pop trance is the best thing since sliced bread it doesn't really matter.
