Olympik Records Remix Contest (Stereo Vocals!)

I'm proud to announce a remix contest courtesy of Olympik Records. Contest winners will receive a full release through Olympik Records and it's multitude of distributors. For more information on Olympik Records, please visit our MySpace. -> http://www.myspace.com/olympikrecords

The tune up for remix is from a fresh and rising vocal artist out of Latvia. Kristine Grundemade. It is titled "Haunting me" - You may hear more of her music on her MySpace -> http://www.myspace.com/kristinegrundmaneonline

All genres of music are accepted, as Olympik Records is a non-genre specific label (and proud of it.) So feel free to send ambient, dub step, house, prog house, trance, nu-disco, whatevers clever. If it sounds good it sounds good.

This contest will give you the opportunity to work with some great vocals, and these vocals are also in stereo which will present an even more interesting twist.

Deadline for remix submission is September 10th. All submissions must be emailed to [email protected] (LINKS ONLY) - Submissions that are not sent with a link will automatically be deleted.

Good luck and look forward to hearing from you.

You can download the remix package here -> Kristine Grundemane - Haunting Me

I love people with that umpa lumpa skin tone!

The background pic looks good tho.

The lyrics are pretty cheesy, ala typical trance style. Would be right up Cryo's alley.

Posted by lay on Aug-11-2009 22:00:

is that true and how do you find out

Posted by Nightshift on Aug-11-2009 23:09:

It is true it is 120 bpm.

I did a tap test in Ableton to verify.

There shouldnt be a propblem to find the "hitponits" where the vocal should phrase should be on beat.
So its easy to make a loop and see what fits I havent done it yet.

Might be interested in doing an ambient mix.

Will DL to check it out when I have net access on my production computer.
