Problem with Traktor and Xone 2D

Ok so I just got the Xone 2D yesterday. I hooked everything up and looks to be working good. However, After about 5-10 minutes of playing a track will just starting going like double the speed and I start hearing crackling noises. I have to close traktor and restart it and then everything is fine again for about 5-10 minutes and then the same thing happens. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Are you using Windows VISTA? There are many known driver problems with external sound devices and VISTA.

Also, are you using a USB hub? I'd recommend not putting your sound card on a USB hub.

I am using VISTA, but no hub. The 2D is directly connected to the laptop.

Fucking vista!

Anyone have any idea on how to try and fix this?

have you gotten all of the latest updates/drivers for traktor and the 2d? i'd start there... also check the traktor and xone forums.

if you find out what is causing the double speed thing can you post back here? It happens every now and then to me with a 4d, and a few others have posted it on the NI forums as well. It's far more random than what you are having though so you might have more luck since you seem to be able to replicate it.

So far all NI have suggested is throwing out the TSI file and starting from scratch with all my settings.
