will.i.am @ Ruby Skye?
this should be... interesting...? black eyed peas house mix.
yea i saw this huge promo about a surprise guest u wont believe..and then wen i found out it was him i wasnt impressed, but i will admit im curious to see what kind of crowd it turns out
u think it'll sell out? i think it probably will. if nothing else he's famous enough for people to be curious.
It will sell out cuz he is huge. And it will be the first and last time any of those people go there. Unless they have more shows with this kind of music. They just had Shiny Toy Guns there which is a band that is big in the pop/emo/punk scene.... Hmmm
If it makes money for Ruby Skye, and doesn't take the place of any EDM shows, and keeps Ruby open and bring in big names.... F*CK YES!
I think this is the true testament that hip hop is dying.....the mice are jumping ship

what were some of the songs that he played?
Will I Am was totally at Fabulous Festival last year in Vegas so he's been paying attention to the scene.
I was actually wondering why he was there and now it makes sense.
makes me think of Tommy Lee, P.Diddy, Lindsey Lohan and all the other celebs who are trying to jump on it. He'll do it for a couple of months, maybe a couple of years and thats it.
There are those of us who jump in to the scene and there are those of us who do it for life. What do you think Will.I.Am will be choosing?

| Originally posted by senserecords Tickets sales are doing very well. I'm just as curious as everyone else to hear him play house music. Honestly, I can't wait to hear what he's going to do and I know it will be a top notch performance. Dean and I (sense) will be there to support the night with opening & closing sets. |

| Originally posted by babygodzilla thats cool. I am surprised the $30 level tickets are still available though. I thought that would have sold out by now and gone up the next tier. Am I wrong? Are ticket prices raised based on availability at that tier, or is it raised when a certain number of days is left? |

the guy hasnt had much experience dj'ing yet tickets are pricier than Prydz,Morillo,AVB,Corsten,Tiesto, PVD
seen film/movie "stars" getting into dj'ing and lo and behold straight to the headliner slot!(the 70's show kid comes to mind)
kinda sad...
even michael jordan didnt have it this good-if you may recall he retired from basketball to give baseball a shot. He hadnt played organized baseball since high school and went straight to AA! NO ONE...I REPEAT NO ONE does that! But MJ did...
whats next, is Willaim going to become a cable car gripman on sunday and charge $50 for people to ride on his car?
will.i.gotothis
no.
Yeah, it is kind of sad. Things like marketing, fame, etc aren't always logical. I guess we do know where the demand comes from. I can't say about other djs, but for one thing, I don't even think Tieto is a better dj than the Sense Records DJs. He is just a more popular producer.
