Behringer Truth B2031A Bass

Hey all, I've heard alot of good things about the Behringer Truth B2031A's, and I'm comtemplating picking up a pair for Djing purposes (I really want a flat frequency response for recording mixes and such). However, do these have a punchy enough bass that would be suitable for (small) parties/get togethers? And do they go pretty loud? Thanks in advance.

I own them, and I don't think it would be sufficient bass for a party. They sound great, but I'm contemplating getting a small woofer.

I own them too. I think they'd be alright for a small, indoor party. They do get loud. Nevertheless, I agree with JD that it wouldn't hurt getting a sub with them. You'll already be saving a lot of money going with the Truths in the first place.

Any ideas on the woofer?

none. Honestly in my room I don't have any space for it, it's something I was contemplating for what I moved out of my parents house finally

You'll definitely want to add a sub if you're using them for house parties and the like - I'd say add one even if you're just bedroom DJing. The matching B2092A sub is nice and warm, reasonably priced (I got mine shipped for around $200 USD, all in) will definitely make up for bass that the monitors lack, but at 75 lbs (with no handles or wheels) it isn't exactly portable.

That set is perfect for what you want - they go damn loud and are (for the price) really decent monitors. The sub would be useful for parties but don't monitor with it - it will mess up your bass balance in a mix.

i have these and for small parties u wouldnt need a sub! loud hifi speakers would do a small party so these will def do!

Hey all, so I got the Rokit 5's, and they're awesome. What would be the optimum setting for levels (gain/master on mix and the gain on the monitors themselves)?

Read this all the way through, especially the calibration guide.

Hope this helps
