After a year and a half and 51 parties - I decided to retire my camera and upgrade to one with HD video... don't forget to click the HD button

I had to be really conservative with the videos compared to how I used to shoot because the HD eats up the battery (and memory) much quicker

did u get the PowerShot 12.1MP(SD780IS) ?

My vids are HQ but not HD... hd is 1280 x 720 (30 fps) mines only 640x480

And I was doing both. Though I still enjoy taking vids, even though they're only VGA. But when Cowgirl comes on, it's kinda impossible to not dance to it.

I went with the Canon SD960 IS and the resolution is 1280 x 720 (30 fps). The Born Slippy NUXX video was 1.23GB when taken off the camera
