and why?

Posted by Sushipunk on Aug-13-2009 01:38:

I like them on pizza sometimes. Because they're salty? I dunno why.

really? i'd definitely eat anchovies before an actual piece of paper. but that's just me.

I like them in Caesar dressing. Or for flavoring pasta sauces, etc. I actually always have a tube of anchovy paste in my fridge.

I always have a can on hand. Great on homemade breamaker dough pizza, and a must have with ceasar dressing.

i barely eat seafood. i'm certainly not going to eat seafood with fuzz/hair/5 o'clock shadow! that said, i like caesar dressing...

random story: a teacher brought in a can of anchovies for some reason or another and asked if anybody wanted them. i was the only one who wanted em so i ate anchovies for the next hour.

They actually go well in most mixed salads when they're finely broken up into little bits and pieces with some cubed cheese too... damn I'm hungry now

I love them! They are an absolute must have for tapas. I don't quite understand the negative stigma.

Never had them,Idk why they just never appealed to me.Sad to say I'm a vegetarian but it's on my list of stuff to eat once I get out of law school, I'll put that right under my Lion Steak and buffalo buggers....Fuck now I'm hungry I guess I'll settle on some Tofu, damn I miss my carnivorous lifestyle.

ive been wanting to try them for a while and i have no idea why because i'm pretty sure they are VERY salty and fishy and i've heard mostly negative things about them. i do love caesar dressing though and i'm aware it's made with anchovie paste or oil.

i think this is going to turn out like my indian food craving. i was craving it even though i had never tried it and then i did and i loved it.

my body is trying to tell me to eat anchovies. i'm ordering them on my pizza next time, i think that's a good start.

They're great for bringing out the flavour in the lamb.
