i care, fuck all the other p2p apps, nothing out there today has even come close the the service AG had going!

some day an equal or better replacement will be found and no-one will care about ag, just like napster (which was shit anyway)

maybe someone will make use of the info on that page to bring us another prog

Actually- that's quite some interesting info...

By the time I was brought on board, the satellite was enjoying a modest amount of traffic, something on the order of 500-600 people connected at any one time.

It was extremely gratifying to write code that was being used by so many people (by the time I left AG, we were getting 80-90 million page loads a day!).

i'm still upset over the loss of my favorite program ever.

i can't find anything on kazaa, or anything! fdgasfsaufoisufo.

R.I.P AG it was without doubt the best file sharing program there has been so far.....but now it is the time for the TA direct connect hub!!!1

R.I.P.

I already miss AG. It blew Napster and all of the other free music file sharing services away.

Hey, don't diss Napster...Napster started it all. Sure, AG was better...but damn, when Napster was pretty much the first of it's kind, and was nearly flawless...and the music sharing community wasn't as big when naspter was around as it was/is in AG's heyday.

I wonder if the next big thing will be even better than AG though...cause Kazaa is pure crap. And I can't download Direct Connect...it's as if the link has been taken out (from their site).

How about Scour.net or Audiofind, those were pretty bad. LOL.

well, if someone's desperate, you can hack into the ag site, and copy all the web page and source and database, etc. reverse engineer it, put it on the net, and point your hosts file www.audiogalaxy.com to wherever the fake one is, so it will connect to the hacked server that instead of the real, fucked up one. =)
