Amazing tracks

Alfon is okay. That's about it.

Waves probably sounds big in a club. But creatively sounds like everything else Prydz has done. I like the videogame soundtrack sound/melody. That said Danny Howells definately has him beat this year in the Progressive House sound, by a wide margin.

Not a huge fan of this, but I have to say I like this happy/cheesey prog sound much more than the electro garbage he was starting to lean towards.

Big fan of this, but I do agree that I'm glad he moved away from the electro-ish crap he dabbled in lately ("Animal" etc.)

Posted by kadomony on Aug-17-2009 23:16:

they're pretty good

Posted by evo8 on Aug-17-2009 23:35:

Alfon is decent enough i suppose, but its the same bassline patterns etc.. i think Eric has ran out of ideas really

Posted by Chimney on Aug-18-2009 06:42:

Sounds ok but Prydzie can do better.

Posted by Blake_Jarrell on Aug-18-2009 07:43:

longest breakdown ever

Posted by ThomasNeil on Aug-18-2009 12:10:

Neither of these will go down as classic but both of them are solid

Posted by ThaMaestro on Aug-18-2009 20:33:

both Waves and Alfon are more innovative (imo) then his latest track's/EP's. really like them both, hope this is the sound of the album too.
although i like his more experimental tracks such as RYMD, Armed and Ironman too. of which i hope he doesnt forget to make such tracks occasionally (and perhaps put them on the album )

Waves is Prydz doing epic trance...

Gonna +1 on Eric going back to stuff like Ironman, first time I heard that in the club was immense.

This guy is so out of ideas it's almost not funny.

I don't know about that. You should check his ID list

Posted by evo8 on Aug-19-2009 00:40:

He was on top with Frankfurt, Remember, 1983 remix and yeah RYMD and Armed were cool also - but i think he needs to change it up or something, no doubt hes got the production talent for big-room stuff that leaves many many others behind

those tunes are usually the best and most addictive ones

Alfon is a bit dull, but Waves has a great breakdown... very epic.

Agreed. He's releasing all the good ones but saving the great ones for the album (which should be due after the summer)

That is probably the case, i'm sure he has a bomb stockpile, he is no joke.

agreed, he was def. on top of it during that time. Frankfurt and RYMD were the shit.

I don't really care what twinkly little well produced number is next in line if it isn't original and interesting. Nothing he has made in the past 3 years has been.

Its a shame to see someone who obviously has some fantastic production technique seem to have no desire to see where it could lead...

Yep, he can easily afford to make something twisted, something more heady, with a bit more mindful vision. He needs some skunk.
