What if.............
These forums we're to be shutdown?
I know this isnt a production studio question but this and the music promotion forum are two I used most. I do view the others but, dont post in them like I used to years ago.
I was thinking what if for some reason if TA had to go because of server problems, money, legal stuff what ever.
I have got some great help from these forums over the years, the members give great advice for noob to advanced producers. And the tracks posted are great to
If it was all to go tomorrow where would we all go? There are some other good forums but I alwys use this the most and get good response's from it, hence the frequent use
I love TA. Seriously, most of the stuff I know, it's been thanks to all you guy's help and to Sonic Academy. The problem with SA is they don't have as many experienced forum members like TA does.
I swear, when I do my first proper release, I'm gonna give thanks to all of TA on the credits! lol
I imagine this forum is well funded in comparison to costs 
But if that were the case, people would just go elsewhere, they need a place to talk about electronic music, find music, and find fellow electronic music listeners.
What if Google or Facebook got shut down? It's unlikely, but shit happens sometimes, and if it does, then you have to pick up the pieces and deal with it. Find a replacement or find something else to do.
If TA shut down, audiopioneers.net might actual get some action.

the debate is software vs hardware.
digital vs analog isn't a debate. everyone knows analogue wins.
I might actually get some producing done if these forums shut down.

KVR is an interesting one, I dont go there much. I guess its the people on here you know that would be the loss as they would all go to different forums, unles you knew where most people went to.
Maybe you could look at TA as a nightclub , Its full of people , some catch your attention , and some you ignore. Some you look at , Some you think eurgh.... , and some that you think , yeah i will do that.Some that like the music , Some that dont , Some that are drunk , some that are pilled up to the 9's , or some that are stone cold sober , some could be rapists , some could be peado's , some could be serial killers!There could be a DJ that couldnt beat match there , there could be one that could , there could be a producer there , there could be someone who thinks EDM is satan , there could be a guy who thinks the access virus is the be and end all!There could be a guy who corrects people through missing a letter out of a sentence, there could be a guy that is insanely jealous that tiesto is as big as he is , Armin is a ponce say some , some like supersaw, some hate supersaw,some like plucks , some like pads , some like jon o'bir , PVD is a german nazi ,cry some.
You walk to the bar and you can hear many people raving over the latest dj on one side and the latest underground craze on the other , both waiting to pounce on you if you look either way.
Your going home and you walk outside this nightclub , and there are 2 police cars and an ambulance , and on the floor is Deadmau5 , in a bloody mess on the floor with paramedics attending to him.
You get home and think , what a night!
But you go back next week and do it all again!!!!!!!!!

lol, maybe someone should kill deadmau5. And get Tiesto while you're at it. I don't listen to much of his music but I heard Carpe Noctum yesterday. 
it's like 2 notes for the whole fucking song.
TA has been my home and the most visited website by me on a daily for over 8 years now. I could not imagine waking up one day to find it gone. I'm not sure where I would go really. I hope I never have to find out.

I guess I'm the only person here that thinks this forum sucks. I pick up a little info here and there but not much. Most of what I see posted here is people arguing about opinions. (so I'll give mine)
It doesn't have that community feeling I get from other forums. Mods are always sleeping. People are rude. Idiots/spammers aren't dealt with. On top of that, it moves at a snails pace.
So if it went down I wouldn't give a shit. I'll just go to the forum I use the most. It has mature musicians in it that don't pencil in every note.
