TA Substance Use

A lot of people seem to post here after drinking, smoking, taking xanax, valium or other downers, or in BTG's case, ecstasy.

A questionnaire:

1. How often do you take illegal/restricted/illegitimate prescription substances while home alone, or alone in your room?

2. How often do you drink while home alone, or alone in your room?

3. How often do you get noticeably drunk while home alone, or alone in your room?

4. How often do you post under the influence of previously mentioned drugs and/or alcohol?


Me:

1. How often do you take illegal/restricted/illegitimate prescription substances while home alone? Haven't ever felt the need to...yet.

2. How often do you drink while home alone? Once or twice a week.

3. How often do you get noticeably drunk while home alone? Extremely rarely. I would have to have had a really shitty week.

4. How often do you post under the influence of previously mentioned drugs and/or alcohol? Pretty rarely; maybe once a month.

Since i have legal prescriptions it doesn't count for me.

2. How often do you drink while home alone? Once a week, maybe more. Depends on what's in the fridge.

3. How often do you get noticeably drunk while home alone? Never.

3. How often do you post under the influence of previously mentioned drugs and/or alcohol? Frequently, but not as much as Domesticated...who made two number 3s.

95% of my posts after 5pm weekdays would be during inebriation.

I smoke pot on weekends, I drink once in a while, I roll a couple times a year and I had a Xanax bar a few months ago but it was because my cousin gave it to me. Biggest waste of time. Prescription drugs really don't do anything to me.

4. How often do you post under the influence of previously mentioned drugs and/or alcohol? I smoke pot on weekends and sometimes will post in the Pothead Alliance when I'm stoned. That's it.

1. Never, I quit drugs a few years ago.

2. A few times a week I guess, though I live with my gf, so I'm not really 'alone' even if I'm in my office or on the deck.

3. Noticeable to who? You guys, or me? I dunno, sometimes. Again, I'm not really 'alone' here.

4. Often. Easily multiple times a week.

I don't do drugs, officer.

For the purposes of this thread, I meant drinking or taking drugs outside of socially (i.e not being in the same room with someone or talking to them).

Barely ever, don't bother with anything illegal. Drinkies are pretty much just the odd glass with dinner or special occasions now.

Ok, so if I have 4 beers one night after I finish all my work, and 2 of those beers are consumed outside on the deck while I'm posting on TA, and the other 2 were consumed outside on the deck while talking to my gf, what's the ruling? Because that's pretty typical for me, if I'm drinking that day.

I know I've posted quite a few times when I was really deprived of sleep, but I don't think I've ever posted on TA under the influence of anything other than happy hardcore and sleep deprivation.

In the interest of keeping this thread alive, I would just like to say that I'm out on my deck (alone, my gf is inside posting on one of the forums she visits), listening to Adam's new set, and having a beer. And it's pretty good
