Happy Hardcore

So a couple days ago I decided to look up some happy hardcore just to check it out and while I found some great songs, mostly the stuff wasn't as happy as I expected. I'm sure it's just that I haven't looked hard enough. So far some songs I've really liked are Rainbow to the Stars - Dune and Children of the Night - Nakatomi. If anyone else here knows some really happy stuff please don't hesitate to post. It seems like the songs I've been finding are less happy and more hardcore.

thats totally my ringtone at the moment. its just so fun and fast and catchy that I can't stop listening to it.

What a load of hollow poppycock ("Children of the Night").

This fella is bound to have something more appropriate: http://www.youtube.com/user/HappyHardcoreTunes

If by "happy" you mean nothing but the presence of major keys, that may take some more hunting.

Wow, that is SO bad.

Just wanted to say that Wessel van Diepen is one of Netherlands' richest young (=under 41) persons cause of that poppycock (and other dance music ventures like The Vengaboys), with an estimated 30 million

Not bad if you ask me

I used to love this stuff btw when I was young but I think you should start looking for some various artist compilations
There's been released a ton of those over here in nl

That's not the best example, as it has loads of gabber as well. It does have tons of classics though.

If oldschool happy hardcore is what you want, just track down the first few volumes of Bonkers.

Listen to it a few more times, then you will know. It took my only one listen to hit the stop button a little after 5 seconds.

Edit: Actually on the 13 second line

Lol no... Awful singer. And just the wrong kind of music for it. It sounds like gay japanese synth pop. Except the japanese sing better.

That's not a fucking reason. Just because you don't like it don't like it doesn't make it bad. Unless of course you're the kind of person who read Ishkur's guide and decided that it must be true. The anti-cheese shit gets old really quickly.

This music is fun and you can dance to it. It is Electronic DANCE Music, anyway.

Even Diddy and his judges without a doubt will say "This is boring shitty karioke music GTFO".

Not saying its the best example, but it's got loads of tracks on those compilations (alot being 4CD or something) so he's bound to get a few good hits

different people, different tastes. You think it sucks and I like it so there's not much point in arguing.

No, I know it sucks. Why?

-Melody has to match the vocal pitch
-Melody is too bland and generic (Something I would expect from a mediocre artist)
-Vocal pitch is sloppy and uncontrolled
