i think it disappeared when the forum went down today and was unable to be restored. swamper would know better.

Ok, thread is restored. The thread database got messed up last night at backup time, as did the post database. I repaired both and no posts were lost but it seems a few threads got deleted... Restored the thread from Thursday's backup and now we're good to go.
