Considering I've seen Sasha twice now (once w/ Digweed) I'm surprised I didn't know.
But you see, that's why I love this board; there's always people on the lookout yea know?

how the hell am i suppose to know??
i was just wondering if it has the ibiza GU feel to it?

it dosn't have the gu feel. it is like more of a soundscape then an album. like a mix of james holden and ambient. you can't just skip to fast beat part, there is none. it is more of a album you have to listen to from start to finish, if you start at one point you seem like you missed something. If your looking for beat heavy anthem stuff, this isn't for you. this is a more complex soundscape fuse of progressive and breaks, like a soundtrack that needs no image . it's not like any of his mix cds , it's different and smashing.

Sasha

I like that, i am not into beat that much so i guess im gonna love this.

I've listened quite a few times now and I have to say this is quite the album.

I will definately be buying it come 5th August.

Where can I obtain a copy?

Posted by Barf on Jul-02-2002 18:41:

your local music shop if you wait about a month

Posted by Twilogoddess on Jul-02-2002 18:49:

It's boring.

Posted by starglider on Jul-02-2002 19:48:

I heard one track and it was awesome. I'm going to avoid downloading the rest of it so the experience is fresh when I finally get to pop the CD into my stereo in August.

Airdrawndagger ranks up with Vangelis and Orbital's work, only more danceable. it's very intelligent and chilled, i can listen to it anytime of the day. if you find it boring it's because you listen to it as a trance album, which isn't what it is.

highlights: Cloud Cuckoo, Golden Arm, Wavy Gravy, Bloodlock.
lows: none as of now.

TA's hub, 'nuff said.

I think Airdrawndagger is a true masterpiece. I can listen to it every time of the day. The most beautiful part of it is that, every time I listen to it, I discover new sounds, which makes it even more special. I will surely buy this one when it becomes available in August.

lol how the hell can an artist album be compared to a mix album like GU13, and no its nothing like GU13 and requires an acquired taste to enjoy to the fullest.

ps: Thnx Tim, your rip rocks
