New Flyer posted soon!!
Bruno Pronsato (Hello?Repeat, Orac | Berlin)
Seattle producer Bruno Pronsato (aka Steven Ford) took several giant steps in 2005 toward the peak of the experimental techno mountain. Both on vinyl and onstage, Pronsato kept up a hectic pace of production and performance, catalyzing listeners and crowds in Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Mexico, throughout the United States, and a triumphant set at Montreal’s Mutek festival. Twelve-inches on esteemed labels like Orac, Musique Risquée, Milnor Modern, Philpot, and Telegraph further elevated his stature and built his international fan base.
A sound scientist whose work is equally playful and rigorous, Pronsato deploys a canny use of space and idiosyncratically fashioned rhythms to disorient and build suspense—like some 21st-century Miles Davis or Eric Dolphy of the laptop. Despite being a minimal-techno artist, Pronsato offers a palette that’s as full of unexpected patterns and meticulously rendered textures as a Wassily Kandinsky painting.
Pronsato’s compositions unsettle in original ways, yet they also slyly tickle funnybones. Often both humorous and erotic, his cuts are the wild cards that adventurous DJs pull out when they want to take the dance floor to strange new levels of motion. Therefore, Pronsato’s releases have become elite selectors’ secret weapons of beguilingly baffling quirkiness that still move asses.

Awesome.
If it's a name I've never heard of, Seppuku and enydo are almost always guaranteed to be excited about it. Not that that's a bad thing, just think it's funny. I guess it helps that trace is opening though in this case. I'll try to make it out to something you do sometime.
Bruno has a pretty unique/interesting style imo, though I haven't heard too much by him. Check out the mix Mike posted, and his recent EP "The Make Up The Break Up."
Dubstep room is me (Inferno), Crookhaven and Mite

Tonight! Get there early, I'm going on at 10...Austin & Adam
Adams not coming because he's lame.
I'll be there.
Come to think of it, has he ever came out of that bunker since he got it?
He won't be out for a while
Yeah man, still 9-11ing. Picked a baaaad week for me.
Great job Trace opening up the night. You played a perfect opening set. There are a lot of seasoned DJs that can't open proper.
Thanks Mike.
I was really stressing out about playing too hard for an opening set...but I guess it worked out alright. There are a few times I felt like my mixing was a little rough due to the fact that I have never played on a system anywhere near that loud. But damn it sounded good in that room.
Anyways that was an awesome show, I really liked the venue set up. Bruno definitely killed it and all of the locals in each room were great. The patio party was awesome. Matt & the guys in the dubstep room were dropping some pretty good stuff, not too electro/wobbly. I will definitely come out more when you guys are playing stuff like that.
Wish I could have gotten more people out but most of my crew showed up after midnight and everyone else was broke/at a house party/didn't want to pay $12...their loss. Thanks Mike for getting me in on this, I had a blast.
